How's that for cultural heritage. Never seen an envelope like that in my life. Kids diary keys, however.

Smile Here in the States they are very common. So the other part of the closure, that you can't see, is identical but sticking out the other way. The thin metal tabs come up so the hole in the flap of the envelope can go over them. Then they are flattened out again as in the photo. Like this!

Also, their Shakespeare quote is off. It is missing the second "be".

A sentence, made of words of those lengths?

Which we then email to them, obviously.

Edit: now there are 10 pictures

That's quite a collection incl. an adorable baby pic holding a wand. Got a Google hit on the quote on a slip of paper to be from Thomas Jefferson (Inaugural Address).

Thought I'd put it all in one place, to see if people have other interpretations of what they are seeing. If the puzzle is a series of words, there are eight words, and 10 pictures. I thought the first two might be to orient us somehow, and the other refer to the words. But the order seems to be off, if we think the last one refers to 'wand' as suggested by Amandel. So there is some work to do...

_ _ to? (two?)
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ pentacle?
_ _ to?
_ _ _ _ wand?
_ _ _ _ _ eight?
_ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

- The fateful will be rewarded (infinity sign)
- Cover of the book the EIGHT
- Cartoon witch on a broomstick, halloween
- There is no truth exists which I fear, or would wish unknown to the whole world (Jefferson inauguration address); quote?
- The number 2
- Open box
- Baby soother? Rattle? Circle/zero?
- Cup, siver chalice
- Pentacle, decorative box
- Wand

EDIT: added the word 'exists' in the right place'; thanks teh_lisa

So instead of a missing word, or the wrong wrong word, the Jefferson uote has an extra word. Exists.

Hi teh_lisa. The correct Jefferson quote has "existing" & ours has exists so reckon that's a definite. Super choices, MensVenatus! Admit am going round in circles Laughing

ETA: Saw the chalice is engraved with "moon" symbols. Used that as the four-letter word in an emailed 8 word guess. Maybe it will get us more feedback? Hope so...

EDIT: For helpful feedback Sylvana Winter wrote:
The challenge begins farther back. Remember the typing errors in the first picture? (there were two pictures tweeted before the others that are also part of the challenge)

Just a thought: witch = which.

Too many 5 letter words. Confused
