AIM Chat 5/21

Since Wes mentioned that we could possibly reach him on AIM, I added him ("thesamgreene") to my AIM buddy list. Sure enough, he showed up and I PM'd him to ask about Dale. He had no news, but asked to be kept posted.

Shortly thereafter, I receieved a PM from someone named "shadowtalk1". The interchange was as follows:

Quote:
shadowtalk: gray gray grey grey; weather weather
lazaruslong567: what do you mean?
shadowtalk: are you grey? im grey
lazaruslong567: i'm not grey

At this point, shadowtalk disconnected. I added him/her to my buddy list just in case.

I got word of a chatroom opening for us to talk to Sam and Dale. Chat started at 8:41 PM MDT (time markers appear in the chat log). Between 9:05 and 9:10 PM MDT, "weirdwesk" requested an invite from dmax801. vraal1 actually issued the invite. Suddenly, and after some confirmation from Dale, Wes Keeler was in the chatroom with us. It was a long chat, finishing at 11:07 PM MDT.

Rather than go into detail about what was discussed, I have attached the entire chat log.

At several points during the chat, "shadowtalk1" showed online. Various PM's to him/her elicited similar responses as above.

Where there Guides at Dale's house?

The transcript of the chat is a great read. However, one thing made me confused. At one point, Wes states that he was invited to Dales house by the guides, to try to bring Dale back. However, when Wes arrived at the house, a "dead eyes" immediately approached him. Later, Wes speaks of a guide that he recognised, with the same face which is on the painting and sculpture made by Sarah.

Is Wes refering to a guide he saw at Dale's house? Were there also other guides present there? And were the guides present at the same time as the dead eyes guy? Did I get something wrong, or is this something we should ask Wes about when there is an oportunity?

To answer your last set of questions, based upon what I've read.
1)Yes, the same guide.
2)Unknown if there were others.
3)Sounds like the Guides and dead-eye were there at the same time.

Observation, the statue depicts Digitalis iirc, so he was the guide that Wes met at Dale's place.

Does this mean that Digitalis is her real father?? And if so, what is Digitalis' relationship with Dale??

This only reeinforces what Wes in some way was trying to tell us; that the guides and the dead eyes are not "good" vs "bad", but just two different groupings with their own agendas (even if these agendas seem to share a lot of common ground).

If guides and dead eyes can share the same space without slitting each others throats... Seems they are all in the same boat. Maybe even depending one on another?

Who's to say that the dead-eye had time to go after the Guide?? Something tells me that the guides are not worth much as fighters, contrary to the dead-eyes who seemed capable of giving the Marzano's fits.
