Oh, damn, does that mean my podcast has to cover this movie? I'll look into it to see how terrible it is, because that's the only way I can see this ending up.
That said, it's nice that the guys are getting their names out there, esp. with something like this. That Tim at least feels confident about this gives me hope that the project might be a bit decent. We'll see, though.

Troy says he's read the script and thinks it will be a good adaptation.
I'm part of the group of people who genuinely like the PA movies.
Dop eet already!

I kinda liked those movies too. Only I thought the ending to the 4th one was kinda bullshit. But that's just me.

The first PA movie was good with the original ending. The cinematic ending that was added with the CGI and the body flying was pretty "meh"
I think it could work until they get into the end game escalation and take it 3 steps too far.

They had multiple endings. The ending I saw was the one where she waits for the cops to show up after 2 days and then she kills them.

That sounds better than the ending I saw, which had her crawl on the floor and then head butt the camera. Then it ended.
Those movies just didn't try that hard.
I'm hoping this will be good. We'll see

Haven't seen that one yet. I was really, really excited to see it after the events of PA3 (I thought that one was far and away the best one yet) but I missed it in theaters and just haven't gotten my hands on a copy yet. Maybe I'll stream it from Amazon this weekend.

Been a while since I've seen PA1. I remember seeing all the different endings at one time or another. I'll chalk bad CGI up to the limitations of a $15,000 budget though.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
IMO: The best ending was the one where she goes to the bedroom and commits suicide, but obviously that would have pretty much killed the plot line.)

Oh sweet Tim on a stick... Just as long as the "movie" of Marble Hornets isn't like those godawful Paranormal Activity abortions-- err, movies.

If Troy says he's okay with it, then I will remain cautiously optimistic. But I just realized, if this gets big enough to have a trailer and be shown in theaters, will people accuse it of being a PA ripoff?

I think it will also be thought of as one of the horrible video game movies...

Yeah, if people thought it was just based on Slender, that would be pretty hilarious.

And we're probably all going to be like "OMG, I totally knew about it before it was a movie/game!!11 #hipster #yolo #swag #kony2012"
So really neither side is innocent.

Tim tap-dancing Sutton... I'm pretty sure the reason he's okay with it is because he's gonna make a million dollars on it... then again, so is Tim-- which means more Tim-related paraphernalia, which is good.
