I certainly don't think Iteration Theory is 100% what is going on here, but I do think it's a means to possibly getting there(as in, I bet it's right on some things)

Yeah I heard sounds of other people in the house or next door to the house. Not sure if it means anything. I think the whirring is just because HABIT's camera has a shitty zoom feature.

You know, something about that sticker has me convinced that it wasn't HABIT who left Vinny the hard drive. After all, doesn't he usually wrap things like that up in purple tape? Although, if it wasn't HABIT who left it, I don't know who could have.

I have to agree this is a ploy by habit to lure Vinny out of hiding. Or at least it was, if it already happened going by Vins last tweet to us. If you watch the last few moments as "Evan" tells us his intentions to kill himself he takes a sudden turn and begins to act alot like Habit and adobts what seem like alot of Habits mannerisms, though this might just be OOC from the actor playing HABIT so much and still having those behaviours lingering around.

Not "out of hiding" per se, but to push Vin into taking some form of action?

Aside from posting a few videos to us, he's been utterly silent. Perhaps following Dr. (maybe) Corenthal's advice about not engaging these "monsters". Keep your head down and run the other way.

But really, whatever has happened has probably already happened. THe video was taken during the day, delivered to Vin in the evening. (unless timey wimey shenanigans are commencing).

Personally I'm kind of hoping the Rake is a truly horribly scarred Jeff who was only at the scenes of all the crimes because he was trying to stop them, not causing them. (Using the property as a time-travel device).

He attacked Vin and Evan because, as far as he knew, they attacked and betrayed him.

I've been reading about all the Rake encounters to refresh my memory. An interesting note I did not realize... it seems Alex never saw the Rake actually hurt him. He was waking up with cuts on his arms, and once he saw the rake at the foot of his bed. (who else do we know that likes to cut people and knows how to use the warp doors of the property?) And all of the other Rake visits with Alex has him only warning him of what will be happening, not hurting him. The whole "cutting Alex's arms" was to make Alex afraid of Rakefied Jeff.

So maybe this ends with Habit pitting Evan (and maybe Vin) against Jeff?

I hope another update comes out soon, I'm dying to know.

I kind of feel like we're not going to see a fight because there wasn't a fight. Evan wants to get into it with slenderman (or the Rake, I'm sure he wouldn't care), but I doubt that HABIT is going to allow that to happen, all things considered. He seems to want to torture Evan too much for him to allow anything else to kill him, much less kill him quickly and off-camera. I would be shocked if there isn't a fight between possessed Evan and Vince before the end of the series, with Evan being killed in an effort to stop HABIT.

I never really put much into the "Rake is Jeff" stuff.

You have to go back to when we first was introduced to the Rake in Alex's videos. The "brother" stuff?
