I am both excited and worried about this film: I really hope it to be good but I think it is difficult to happen because of a lot of reasons. I don't know, it is a great OPORTUNITY for Trosephim but watching the current quality of storytelling, plot and acting in films made by big companies I am afraid it'll be a very disapointing and comercial movie with plain stupid characters who do nonsense things like in ParanormalActivitie4

Well, the acting and storytelling can't be a whole lot worse than MH has gotten recently with exceptionally slow pacing entry to entry and minuscule revelations that do very little for the plot of the show. The scare factor is almost non-existent now too. It is almost a chore to keep plodding along at this point.I keep hoping for a big payoff that seems less likely every day.

A big movie at least has to be condensed to 2-3 hrs and therefore will at least keep moving.

Hey how's the TTA puzzles going to work? Are they going to have a pause in the movie so you can work them out? Or is like the characters going to work them out in the movie? Like if they watched them on YouTube and then sat down and puzzled them? It would get kinda tedious for a movie I think

I'm a bit inclined to think that they'll use ARG elements leading up to the movie's premiere, like with so many ARGs on this site. I doubt they'll have too much TTA-style stuff in the movie itself, aside from the usual Maskies and Hoodies.

Without more detail, we can't even be sure it's going to follow a similar storyline to what the MH series does. It's quite possible it will be a different scenario and just use the mythos established within the MH universe.

Probably we'll just watch Jay finding messages from TTA and decoding them himself.

I dont really think they will follow the Marble Hornets pattern. Why would people pay for something that already exists, even better, at the comfort of their homes and for free?

Horror movies are supposed to scare the hell outta you. I watched the first and second PA at night time and slept like a baby. On the other hand I barely watched the first season of MH and couldnt sleep at night for one week.

Come on we watch a grown man running around in a female-like mask and we think its normal. A guy in a hood stalking people around and sending coded messages? Perfectly acceptable. Now tell me Marble Hornets isnt well produced. They were pretty convincing. Tell me you havent thought about the Operator when you are alone at your house and you hear weird sounds...

The movie most likely won't even have the same characters.

it would be sick if they took TTA, and made him a character IRL, like made it appear as if he was in the projector room putting messages into the movie itself, sort of like they made tyler durden stich porn into the reel in fight club, and then actually had small frames of porn in the movie itself.

like have Jay find his messages in the movie, then also have him hijack the reel and put messages in the film for us to figure out.

an example of this would be:

lets say Jay and Alex are talking early on in the film, then an effect appears that looks like the reel itself is being tampered with, and there's like a 5 frame message over the movie that says 'LIAR' or something, just TTA foreshadowing the plot within the plot.

I think Marble Hornets fits more as a miniseries than a film

I would like to see how the entries will be shown. Mabye instead of just texts in the entries they will have an audio recording of Jay's voice reading the text, or mabye they will show Jay editing the entries and have a voice over of Jay while he is typing the text.
