Who ever said there will be "entries" in it? Most probably the only relation to Marble Hornets the movie will have is TO and the shooting style (I don't know what is called), other than that I think it will be completely different to the series.

The only way I could see this working would be if the entire movie was a single entry, albeit long.

A few movies have used multiple entries to work. I hate to use Paranormal Activity but it did work. Also Blair Witch was broken up. Instead of "entry" numbers, you just use dates.

How dare he?! Why what an utterly DESPICABLE SELL-OUT reasonable thing for him to do. He has absolutely no every right to do this!

Funny seeing how that wasn't a problem with anyone at all. We just aren't optimistic and think it'll flop based on past Hollywood experiences. None of us want to see a movie put a bad light on series we all so dearly love, and at the same time, would love to see this movie succeed and be very good. You're just trying to act like we feel self entitled to free entertainment when we aren't at all.

I also have concerns about how the movie is going to fit in the greater Marble Hornets...thing.

Is it going to be a prequel/sequel? Completely non-canon with Marble Hornets? Telling the story from another character's point of view? A straight adaptation of one or more parts of the series?

Will I like any of these options, even if they are well-done?

It'd be interesting and pretty cool if the movie is going to be the final conclusion of the series. Hell, with the ending not-too-far-off, it's definitely possible it could all be ending in movie-form.

I think it's fantastic MH is getting a movie deal. Personally, I wouldn't mind them ending this series as the movie.

What I hope DOESN'T happen is something like Blair Witch Project 2-taking a great premise and warping it into a farce with little to no thought to the plot and just trying to cash in on the idea.

Likely simply an adaptation--the wording is "based on", if I remember correctly, and from what I've learned in film studies, they'll take the basic premise and run with it.

I don't really like the idea of a thus far free series suddenly ending in a pay-per-view movie. Especially if the actors won't be the same.

But, like I said earlier, it doesn't seem likely. They're going to be shooting it soon, & let's face it, Trosephim do an awful lot of last minute rewrites.

Plus, it would be implicitly violating their statement that the series isn't going to end earlier than planned because of it.

And people never tell lies or get forced into things due to unforeseen circumstances.. right? Right guys?

Does no one read Troy's blog? THE SERIES IS NOT ENDING EARLY! Meaning, it's not ending with the damn movie. The movie is just based on their story/mythos.

Reading is fundamental. :V

Relax, sir Puppy mc. Puppet jr. Pup Man. We've all read it. They may have planned to end it with the film for some time now, hence it wouldn't be ending "early," as they've planned on it. :V

I did not read anywhere that they were ending the series with the film. What I read seemed to confirm that the movie is going to be it's own separate entity and stand alone from the rest of the series. Troy has already stated that he and his group have already written the ending to the series. Troy did not write the script for the movie. Ergo, the movie is not going to be the ending to the series.

We also didn't read anywhere that they weren't ending it with the film. I'm not jumping to any conclusions. I think we should wait until more is said by Troy before jumping to turkeyclusions and claiming we know everything.

Wouldn't you agree, Pupmeister of Puppy Puppetville? :V

Did I miss the memo that said to treat puppet like provado? (No offense provado) he has a point. Marble Hornets is probably not going to end as a movie. Troy wouldn't let that happen. If anything to do with continuity, it could be a sequel with new characters. But I doubt it has much to do with Jay and Alex since there is a new writer.
