Wow that is something I haven't seen brought up at all but makes a lot of sense. So is Baldpate the nexus created by Slendy or exploited by Slendy? Can Vinnie somehow figure out how it works and use it to travel to Candleverse, or somewhere else? Interesting insight, how can we utilize it to help now?

Potentially, you have Dr.Corenthal (if that wasn't Evan) and the copies of our people (as seen in The Property when they were looking at the screen and turned around and freaked Vin out) as well as the candleverse guys that were sittin around the candles. Them people can probably help our lonesome buddy.

I mean what does he have for help here?
Mrs. Corenthal that lead was never followed really all the way through.

Ok, So I just emailed GreenFeathers through youtube (is there any other way?) asking if he's still alive and how he's doing if the first answer is a yes.

Hopefully I get a yes and that I will forward to Vincent, just to get the "They're all gone" out from his mind. At least one guy is left if he still is.

I'm pretty sure GreenFeathers has been dead for a while, since Habit was going to kill him after his video upload.

Nah, Mrs. Corenthal is what you might call an NPC missing & no one knows how to get in touch with her. If she's still following some directive from the Doctor, we might see her in a video soon. Or maybe not, who knows?

I do believe that all that Habit said was that he'd be back "later" with what sounded like a machete, from his description.

I think there's some pretty good proof that Habit is still very much in control of the situation with Evan. Obviously, there's the smiley pumpkin with the knife in it, and alot of people have pointed this out already. What I HAVEN'T seen is anybody talking about the door. Immediately after what I believe to be the real Evan wakes up (temporarily) free of Habit's influence he goes for the front door. Evan explicitly states that the door is not locked (even if it was he is on the inside of the house, sooo) and tries to open it only to find it held shut by some unknown mechanism or force.

Its surprising nobody has said anything about it, because for me after rewatching the WAKE UP video this comes across as a big indicator that Evan is 'off his leash' as we see him in this video, and for the most part independant of HABIT, but he is still very much locked up in his kennel and put on display for all to see, namely Vinny and us. HABIT 'wants' Evan to make this video. HABIT 'wants' to make Evan run circles around his cage (the house) and suffer with the knowledge of everything he has done while under HABIT's influence, and thus cannot allow him to leave the house. Hence we see HABIT holding the door shut, either by rigging some sort of something that wouldnt let Evan out until the morning after, or maybe some supernatural spooking similar to what we saw in the hard drive being delivered to Vince.

This, in addition with the smily pumpkin, the edited in footage, and the all caps description of the video make it hard to disagree that Evan's 'suicide' is being orchestrated by HABIT (I have some doubts about if its still Evan talking when 'he' talks about fighting the thing in the dirt, which is probably the Rake. The expressions and emotions he gives around that time seem too similar to HABIT's for me to trust)

Also Evans comment "YOU DON'T SEE SHIT" halfway through when he puts the camera down on the bed and starts to walk into the room where Jeff was tortured, its like he doesnt want to give HABIT the pleasure of seeing him breakdown on camera, or for some pety reason doesnt want to film the body.

The thing is, whenever Evan isn't completely possessed, it's always been hard to separate his natural mannerism from those of HABIT.

And the door, I honestly thought was somehow just rigged to be locked from the outside. If not, then I have no idea.

It just occurred to me--given the fate of the baby, and assuming HABIT was nudging Evan toward suicide, I wonder what was up with all the "perfect host" stuff?
