Clue Anagrams List

Happy to revise this list with any new clue info from y'all...
Quote:
franc as coins=san francisco
satanic sky=kansas city
mark cat=amtrack
letseat=seattle
any grand con=grand canyon
safe net=santa fe (maybe)
bin guild=building
oats tin=station
bf ns=BNSF
japans cos=cajon pass
gaff flats=flagstaff
66=Route66
coin if in a cup=Union Pacific
tick toc if fee=ticket office
Origami Town=waiting room

AZ=Arizona

Dare Does Sins=address is one (1)

Absolute guess that 'building' may refer to The Cira Centre, a César Pelli designed glass tower built "over rail tracks" owned by Amtrak. HI teh_lisa...the next round?

IMO it should be 'station building', also known as a head house or more specifically the train depot.

**ETA 2**
BNSF/Amtrak likes parallel parts of Route 66 and the santa fe trail.

Yup, anagrams can be so imprecise. If you find something for 'Dare Does Sins' will pop that one on the list, also. BTW: your Keeper submissions were gorgeous, HP.

Hello everyone!

Just thought I'd jump in here...

I sent in my email and am now a Keeper of Cups! I was told I could choose a specific card now or when I have the opportunity to play one. Still trying to decide which card I want to go for. Perhaps the six or seven of cups...

But in any case, I'm looking forward to working with you all!

We should make a map and pin these places.

As of yet, all the places apart from Grand Canyon is on the BNSF railway, as far as I can tell. But 66 doesn't make any sense, and "building" is just vague.

Yes, I agree: we should make a map and pin these places down...um...so...who wants to do it? Draw straws? Laughing

As for the Grand Canyon, I found a few things. First, there is a Grand Canyon Railway that rides back and forth there. This railway intersects with a BNSF overpass. The Grand Canyon railway uses Williams Station, Arizona as a DEPOT and this station is located adjacent to the BNSF of Phoenix.

It might be pertinent to note that the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railway built the depot. The ATSF would later merge with the Burlington Northern (BN) to become the BNSF as it is today.

As for the Union Pacific as decoded by HappyPhantom up above, see here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Union_Pacific_Railroad

Edit: Okay so I did some research. Since the PM cardkeepers told me that Cajon Pass was on the right track, I looked it up in relation to Route 66. I found out that:

Quote:
The original BNSF (ATSF) line was constructed in the 1880s and later roads, U.S. Route 66 and I-15, roughly followed this route.

Also, Cajon Pass is used by both Union Pacific and BNSF (which admittedly isn't very difficult considering they are the major competitors of one another).

It probably isn't important, but in 2004 a UP train and a BNSF train crashed into each other.

Edit 2: I have been trying to figure out Dare Does Sins but I have to get ready for the day so I'll just leave where I stopped at here:

Dare Does Sins = Sis Needs Road

ROAD is probably correct. Now what about the other letters? I thought SIS only because Anna's story just began to bring her up. But Sis Needs Road feels like an incomplete expression, so that probably isn't it...

Yes we are definitely being led somewhere aren't we(I remember AZ being connected to either Union Pacific, BNSF, Cajon Pass, or all three, I think)? I am busy for the rest of the day but good luck everyone on figuring this out!

Hi Pia, your anagram was among the most skilled I've evah seen. Was at the same time working on a hunch which sorta panned out:

Might 'dare does sins' be 'one is address'? If this is the right track we'll begin narrowing it down asap

The words are correct, their order is not

So, am now awaiting an email reply on the correct word order *crosses fingers* & there's a Cardkeepers blog update titled "Bringing in Clara".

Thanks Smile I liked yours a lot too.
I feel bad teh_lisa, if I had any idea the clue words would be limited I wouldn't have submitted so many cards
I am by no means experienced with many ARGs but this one moves really fast... almost too fast. I check updates excessively because I am afraid I will miss something

you know i have to agree with that. This ARG is moving extremely fast. I also find it hard to keep up. I hope there will be a recap soon. I have played in a few ARG's now and this one has been the fastest paced. Hope it gets slowed down just a tad Razz
