The North Wing

I think the North Wing of Martha's Boarding House is an entrance to the underground where those 'Big Brother' black box monitors are. Somebody told me that in the novel 1984 people were surveilled through their televisions? Maybe that's how they're keeping an eye on Jim Prufrock and his doin's in Martha's Boarding House

ooo very interesting.

Not just the idea that North Wing houses the surveillance (I always assumed that they were somewhere in the casino...), but the TV tie in. I was thinking that the Clue Television refered to the way the final Clue would be revealed. I like the idea of the Clue Television being something more...like this.

Nice spec TL! Can I post something about it on pd.com? I'll definitely give credit & such.

Location of the Surveillance Room

I think the North Wing is a good spec. I'd like to throw in the lower level of Sloman's as another possibility. Perhaps there is a network of underground corridors connecting the two [and the casino as well?]. I also think your spec about the tvs being the surveillance devices is strong in light of ep 2's clue/hint/whatever.

One variation on your theme I'd like to suggest -- perhaps the tvs are not surveillance devices but some sort of control device? The Watermark is doing SOMETHING to the people of Push -- maybe they are doing it through the tvs [waking up at 7, making love at 9:15] ???

Just a shot in the dark.

I was thinking about there being an underground complex too, especially since the casino is a customer of go mining. I wondered if any of the new buildings (especially the ice rink) have some purpose as in being over specific enterances or locations. I tried locating them on the map from pushdiner.com ; but didn't see any pattern.
The casino was also broken into from the underground. I wonder if silias's and the icemans knowledge of the underground system was a factor leading to their murders
