Jay has proven to be too derp to even be a script kiddie. I doubt he hacked the hotel's security camera. Also, a lot of those places do not have security cameras. Privacy issue, most likely, or cost, whichever. Probably have cameras in the lobby though. I did security guard work for a similar style motel, never saw any cameras anywhere outside of the lobby.

Are you not selling the fans short by giving them filler entries? This could've been part of another entry if it's so essential, or he could've just mentioned that Tim and him decided to leave. It's so minor it's like an unfinished entry. It really should've been part of 67.


It is part of Entry 67. Hence the name. And it isn't a filler entry for anyone not following the twitter account.


Yes, and I've never liked the .5 entries to begin with. They break flow, the only thing with this is where's the information? Ok, they decide to leave, but we knew they were afraid of Alex, we know Jay jumps hotels and we're usually alerted by a tweet, we know Jay has coughing fits. It doesn't matter if it's a continuation of entry 67 every entry is a continuation in some larger sense of the next, it's just usually with a part entry it's more direct of a connection. It would've been more impactful if we saw this at the end of entry 67.

If this is a direct continuation/part anyway, why is there no mention of the tape either? It really doesn't feel like a direct continuation of the last entry.

 		I'm guessing Tim strapped his camera in case something happened on the way to their new motel room. I'm expecting a couple weeks of tweets about paranoia and then Jessica coming back in the next entry somehow, and her not remembering who Jay is.

 		Also the fact that they're travelling together now is a pretty major deal. There's no more "I wonder where Tim is" or "just waiting for Tim to call me". If Tim goes into Masky mode again, things could get real nutty real fast

 		I had a long response but there is no point in arguing. All I would say is check season 1 and 2 and tell me the way they have been doing things isn't the norm at this point. It is only defined as filler under the preassumption that it is all ending soon. And it's not.

I liked the entry, Just wonder where they think they can go. I also wonder why they are so sure that Alex got away safely in entry 67. I suppose at this point it is assumed, but I didn't think it was guaranteed after the entry.

Marble Hornets is a web series. It has been pointed out time and time again throughout various threads in this forum that Troy and company have specifically designed the series to be told through the main channel so that if you have NOT seen the twitter, seen the TTA videos, or seen the Unfiction forum, you can watch the series, and get all of the information needed to understand what the fuck is going on. What you call filler is actually meant for the people who do not come here, who do not watch the TTA videos, and who do not follow the twitter. It's not filler to them. It's actually quite important for plot development. You guys really really really need to remember that not all of the 275,495 subscribers come to unfiction, or follow the twitter, or even watch the TTA videos.



Also, for those who asked earlier, there is no significance to the video being marked as age restricted. Troy said on his twitter earlier that he didn't know why it happened, but it's fixed now.

Yeah, when I said CCTV I was just referring to any camera that's not his own really. It's probably his own footage on the TV, but it could be a public webcam (specifically picking a hotel that's covered by one is not a bad idea) or something like that. I didn't really think too hard about it except to say it's probably footage of somewhere in the immediate locale.
