I do find one thing about this and the recent Tweets to be somewhat interesting.

Jay seems to be more worried about Alex than Hoody or the Op.

Not on a hotel TV. You actually have to plug your computer into the tv in order to play it on the hotel tv. They purposely make it that way. Sometimes they make you pay for that service. Some hotels are ass holes like that. :V

Two things bug me about this entry.

1. Why no reaction about entry 67

2. Who was second bed?

Also If Alex really WAS screaming at Jay with no eyes. That better be caught on video.

Oh and why did jay include footage of his dark empty room? Just so we could hear him cough?

And who knocked at the beginning? (And why did he turn off the light? Like it would help him be stealthy.)

I think this entry was actually great for the simple reason that it lets us see more of the human side of Jay's experience. I kind of forgot about that until his recent twitter posts in which I remembered that Jay, day to day, is just a scared shut in, moving from place to place in a state of constant paranoia. This entry really peered into the reality of a person in Jay's position, dragging his meager bag of possessions from hotel to hotel in the early hours of the morning. There is a difference between storytelling and plot development. Storytelling puts you into someone else's head, their reality, plot (oddly enough) actually tells the story, the events from A to B to C. This entry was a great example of storytelling, for four minutes I felt like Jay, Tired, helpless, scared, and in an odd way important, or at least different, part of something larger. I think this is just what the MH series needed at this point, an unexpected slap of humanity. Don't we all feel our most vulnerably real at 4:00 AM?

I wonder what Jay was watching on the TV.

It's nice to see the white text at the end of this entry. Haven't seen that in a while.

10 pages in and I'm the first to mention a possible Operator sighting?

3:40, look at the reflection in the car window - to the left of Jay's reflection...

Seems like somebody already pointed it out...

Ah yeah, I see it now. Nobody else seemed to have actually talked about it though. "Alex will find us eventually"...and then look who it is. Certainly adds a bit more dramatic weight to an in-between entry.

I can't see it, what I think your seeing the the reflection from the light of the camera or something. It seems to move with Jay.

It seems that no one else has noticed the face on the television screen that is present the entire time. It is more noticeable in the dark. It could simply be a case of pareidolia, though I'm inclined to think not.

Way too unclear to make out what's on the screen. Especially when you take a screenshot in less than HD quality. To me it looks like an unfamiliar hallway, perhaps just another part of the hotel.

I don't mind words that actually exist like Pareidolia-but what drives me batshit is when words get made up (canon, proxy ect) to fit descriptions. Someone-Make a F'n dictionary already.

Bad examples: both are real terms, co-opted by fandom. (Canon is a formal and established set of rules, laws, etc.; a proxy is a stand-in authorized to act on one's behalf.)

As close as he is to the chainlink, the Operator would have to be inside that gate and behind the dish to make that figure, except we'd see the dish. I think that's just light and reflection.

I took the image on screen for a mask too, maybe something to do with the eyeless Alex dreams or some call-back to Tim's crazy dresser-sitting escapades, but with the angle there's no telling.

Did the last sentence ring any bells to anyone?

"But we're not giving up. We've done too much to just quit now."

A la Ted the Caver, anyone? If this is the case, this is the last entry, folks. They aren't coming back.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Nah, just kidding. Although I seriously got that vibe, that would seriously SUCK. it worked in Ted the Caver, but it WOULD NOT work in MH!

Canon also means a recognized body of literature, especially Biblical canon. That's more likely to be where the "fandom definition" originated.

Also the process of Sainting someone. Not sure if that's related.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
yeah, the off-topic/oog thread is the best place to discuss about production value type things. If you're worried only a few people will see your post, that just goes to show you how little people care about discussion involving the production value. For those who didn't see it re-posted earlier here 3 posts down.

So, on topic, I'm 90% sure they're going to the college town. Just because none of them have been there since season one, and it's the only other place we know of that's relevant. However, there is a slight chance that they're going to an entirely new area because they got some kind of lead that they can't tell us about since it would give away where they're going? Though I'll admit I hope the whole "we can't tell you what's going on because Alex is watching" thing doesn't become a norm.
