I'm not expecting much, but I'm sure it's mainly MH based and won't fit into the current webseries whatsoever. I'm cautiously optimistic that we'll get to see what can happen with a decent budget, and some relatively unknowns working on it. With the way most movies are nowadays, I wouldn't feel any better if some juggernaut director/producer spearheaded the project.

I just realized that in their interview with Gamefront, when asked the question, "Do you have any more projects going on?" Troy said, "Not that we can talk about." I'm thinking that this is what he was referring to.

I'm sitting here daydreaming that the film adaption is going to be -- rather than an adaptation -- a companion piece. In my perfect world this upcoming film would be some elucidation on the events surrounding our intrepid protagonist's journey rather than a reimagining of Jay's shenanigans.

How cool would it be if we got to see what Alex had been up to from Alex's point of view? Or got to see what Totheark was up to, or Tim's early struggles with the Operator? Even better if they use the boys as actors... which, I suspect, they probably won't. :c

There's potential for this thing to be good. I'm holding out judgement. What'll make me nervous is if we find out that yes, this is a straight adaptation of the story that's already been told, but in movie format. That'd be pretty disappointing, considering all the potential for other stories the setting puts forth.

Would be pretty cool if they based it around the story in Entry #38. That way it wouldn't be weird that none of the old actors are there.

What if it's the 'real' Marble Hornets movie that Alex was filming?

Of course with The Operator sightings in some scenes. And with the bonus scene a TTA video.

I don't think that's been said. A warped version of Marble Hornets is a neat idea, but not probable, because the whole student film is treated as a joke.
