I've always been interested in setting up a Slendy ARG over here in the UK because I've yet to see one set here and there's plenty of places up north within walking distance of my girlfriend's house that would be pretty good for shooting.. Even if they're on the other side of the country for me.

Only real problem is I'd have no idea how to go about it properly. I'd be less than useless at the cryptic side of it. Or probably any side. Ah well.

How northern are we talking here?

I second this question, I'd definitely be interested in lending a hand if possible.

I think "north" is too north for me- otherwise I'd love to join you guys!

OT: I hope it doesn't happen. If it did, they would need to do something special to please this forum...

This forum isn't the only place where Slenderman series' are welcomed though. UnFiction welcomes them, but it's also for ARGs. Smile

I know that, but this forum does has a miserable bunch sometimes. I won't mention names... Razz

There are many Slendervlogs out there. Everymanhybrid is (debateably) in it's final act, TribeTwelve is only about half way over, Darkharvest seems to be just getting started, MLAnderson is still in it's early stages, and i'm sure there are plenty i haven't heard of. Of course i would love for there to be a "Next Generation" style marble hornets, but let's face it, the sequel is never as good.

I don't know, there have been sequels that were better than their predecessors, like Terminator 2: Judgement Day, Skyfall, Christmas Vacation, The Two Jakes and of course The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

Wait, what's the debate? It was literally said, onscreen, to be in the "third act." The "third act" almost always refers to the final act, which is clearly what was meant to be implied.

There are plays with only two acts, and others with up to six acts.

Hence the qualifier "almost."

I had a much longer thing typed up, but then realized that I should probably stop dragging this thread off-topic.

Dunno where you are, but I move between Middlesbrough and Leeds regularly. I tried to get something set up before - not Slendy, but similar sort of idea. I'd be interested, depending on your definition of North.

With Terminator and Aliens I always felt like there was a genre shift, in both to more action orientated rather than thriller\horror.

I'm not quite sure if anything Marble Hornets related could survive a genre shift though. Any sort of follow up would need to be different enough to justify watching it, but not too removed to alienate everyone interested. Treading old ground would just be a waste of time.

Skyfall Christmas Vacation

Your lack of comma made me think this was a single movie at first.

And then I started imagining it.

It was like four in the morning when I wrote that, haha. Even grammar Nazis get tired.

The name's Chase. Chevy Chase.

If you're referring to "Next", that actually said "final act". Although it was apparently HABIT who added that text, so he can't be fully trusted. That said, probably really is the final act.
