For me:
The sun
ETA

The Sun is a 'yes' to life! It brings with it luck, wellness, positive consciousness, enthusiasm, attainment and success. It is about embracing your destiny and giving it everything you have got. If you have been having a difficult time, the Sun brings you the message you have been waiting for – that things are going to get better – a lot better! You know that the rain clouds will soon give way to the rays of the sun and you will feel warmed to the soul once again. The Sun is also an energetic card. It reflects a time when you can expect to experience an increase in physical energy, vitality and general positivity. You are bursting with enthusiasm, feeling invigorated and enjoying a wonderful sense of good health.

The ace of swords
ETA
The Ace of Swords represents a period of great insight and mental clarity. It signifies a 'break-through' or an 'aha' moment where suddenly conscious understanding and mental reasoning reach their peak, and achievement of goals suddenly becomes a lot easier. You have a new understanding of some issue that has been of concern, or, in a broader sense, a new world view. This is a perfect time to clear away the fog that has kept you from seeing the inner truth, so that you can now cut to the heart of the matter. This is also a good time to act, and if you set your mind to accomplishing your goals, you can achieve anything you desire.
The ten of coins
ET
As a Ten, the Ten of Pentacles is such a great sign that despite challenges and setbacks along the way, you will finally reach a point of completion and accomplishment in your journey. The Ten of Pentacles shows how family, or even extended family, is incredibly important. It represents tradition, being a part of something bigger and realising that the blood of your ancestors runs through your veins.

The Ace of Swords is a good choice too. I think I will switch out The Hanged Man for the Ace of Swords.

So my list now is:

The Six of Wands

The Sun

The Ace of Swords

I think one of my cards will be the Tower. It is all about revelation. That sounds like something we want. Very Happy

Which deck are you looking at? (I am having issues keeping cards and decks straight Smile )

This is what is written on the Rider-Waite page:

Quote:
The Tower is probably the most feared card in the Tarot deck. Unexpected catastrophe. Turmoil. Upheaval. It seems likely that the authors meant to warn of consequences for the hedonism described in the Devil card. You are sitting snug and happy in your castle tower, seemingly safe from the dangers below. Suddenly, a bolt from the blue smashes into your life, casting you out of your secure world. The image on this card is quite clear. Complacency is shattered. Stability is gone. Comfort and confidence are distant memories. But in some ways this card is not entirely different from Death. It also represents new beginnings, not by choice but by necessity. The Tower card brings us back down to earth. In a few situations, it is also suggested that this lightning bolt could represent the electricity of irresistible passion or true love striking the seeker. Traditionally, calamity, catastrophe, ruin, cataclysm, punishment.

I think I will go with:

The Tower

The Sun

The Ace of Swords

Wink

Edit:

Just one run-down of possible meanings I googled on the Tower:

Quote:

having a revelation
suddenly realizing the truth
exposing what was hidden
having a burst of insight
seeing through illusions
getting the answer
seeing everything in a flash

My original sources for my interpretation of the tower are varied and long forgotten lol (I've "researched" it for a story once) but the above is what I usually read about the Tower. It means sudden change, catastrophe, and all that jazz, but I've always seen this as a necessary step to inner enlightenment or insight in general. Revelation.

Thanks for the explanation. The card still scares me, but I totally see what you are saying.

Here is one of my original sources:

http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/learn/reversals/tower.shtml

This is the part which seemed most important to me at the time of reading:

Quote:
the truth is revealed. What seemed to be stable is not, and comes crashing down. All that is left is the bare, harsh truth on which something more stable and real can now be built.

There will, of course, be a price for such revelation. But to me, the truth is always better than the reverse (here I literally mean the reverse -- look at the reverse meaning for the tarot on that same page).

I have submitted The Ace of Swords and the Sun. I am waiting on my third submission. I do kind of like the Tower idea. Just not sure yet...

Feel free to give it some thought. At this point, with no others planning to submit The Tower, there will only be one vote for it. Not that I am trying to manipulate you or anything. Twisted Evil

Here is why I am seriously considering it:

Maybe the best thing is to strip it all away to be left with just bare facts of some sort. The way you explained it made a whole lot of sense. The way it was explained in what I posted just seemed frightening and destructive. I am sort of looking at it as the phoenix almost. I alos don't want us to end up with a bunch of cards each submitted once. That's why I was willing to be swayed in other directions. The Sun was the only one I knew I was going to present for sure.

Plus, I like your attitude and the way you think, S.P.I.

So, I submitted the High Priestess twice and Ace of Swords.

Here's the description of High Priestess:

Quote:
Surprising and unexpected revelations may by coming. The High Priestess card represents illumination, knowledge and truth. She is eminently feminine, mysterious, secretive and intuitive. Moody and aloof. Knowing all, but expressing her secrets by measure, or through symbolism. Yet she is a powerful advisor. A well of knowledge, but only a cup at a time is dispensed. This card may often represent the subject, if female, or the object of the subject's desire, if male. Also, perhaps a suggestion for introspection or meditation. Traditionally, she represents knowledge, modesty and discretion.

The only reason why I didn't vote this last time was that I thought we couldn't submit cards that we're not keeper of. I really do like the sound of knowledge and truth Smile

You can always submit a card even if you aren't the keeper. We just kind of started having the keeper of that card submit it. Never a rule. You can still submit a third card even, if you like Smile OOps, I didn't see twice Smile

Sorry the way I read it I thought you maybe didn't read the whole email. My bad Smile

No worries Very Happy and thank you.
My apologies if I sounded snappy, I was typing on the phone at work.
I probably shouldn't do that too much lol

@ndemeter, I know how you feel. I thought it was fast in the beginning but it's only picked up in pace.
