No. I was referring to the FPS adaptation of it. I thought the game was decent but adapting something like that is lame.

..wait were you being sarcastic?

Zargggggily Zarggg Zarg was indeedily not being sarcastic, because Shadowrun seems to be quite awesome.

And to address your other replies regarding Shadowrun's FPS adaptation: The PC/Xbox cross-platform play was one of the many reasons why that game failed. PC-console-cross-platform-multiplayer is a stupid design decision and should NEVER under any circumstance make its way into a shooter. Those who are playing with a mouse have much more aiming precision than those playing with the silly game pads on the consoles. Skill gaps stop mattering, as the console gamers get destroyed because they simply can't aim as quickly with a joystick.

Valve intended to have cross-platform play with CS: GO, but they thankfully have common sense and didn't go through with it.

Anyway, happiness... Spring break is starting in a few days, which means I'll have all the time I need to play the living crap out of Heart of the Swarm and Crysis 3 before Bioshock Infinite and Slender: The Arrival come out. These next few weeks are going to be awesome.

I'm happy to see the happy thread back near the top, because everyone needs happiness.

I bet if I typed happy long enough it would no longer look like a word.
Happy happy happy happy happy happy happy

There. Mission accomplished.

Caffeine? What caffeine?

So Ithilwen, did the homework ever get finished? Smile

I'm in the Happy Thread because I had a piece of cake today made out of multiple layers of Stroopwafel. Stroopwafel

Alas, it is finals. The homework never ends.

But I am still happy in spite of it all, because this is the happy thread.

...what is a stroopwafel?

Oh, sorry, never occurred to me to link. Doh. Thanks, Zarggg.

Stroopwafel is an extremely delicious, thin, wafer-type cookie made from dough pressed in a special waffle iron. The Italians have something similar called pizzelle, but Stroopwafel differ in that they are served with this wonderful burnt-sugar syrup. The cake was five or six layers of Stroopwafel and syrup with thickened syrup on top as a frosting. Very very good.

I had never actually heard of the thing until I started lurking here and noticed that they had an emoticon for it, then googled it and resolved that I would need to go visit the Netherlands before I die, but the Stroopwafel came to visit me. (I still need to go visit the Netherlands.)

How much longer on your finals?

I am happy for knowing at least what was the name of the Stroopwafel (I think this sentece does not make any sense, but whatever, this is the happy thread, so please I would be happy if someone corrects it happily).
My sister bought me some of them when she was in the Netherlands (she's back there right now. There are some lucky people in the world ¬¬) and I liked them so much, but I think I have not seen them here, in Spain and I didn't know the name Sad

But, thanks! Now I know how should I call of this delicious thing *__*

That sounds amazing. I must find a place that sells stroopwafel, because I'm pretty sure my life will be incomplete otherwise.

I have a week to go on my finals, but along with those I have a project to complete, an essay to write, a concert to attend and write a paper on, and a quiz due in the same class on the same day as the final.

On the upside, I go on vacation the very next week.
