Although they said that in the context of using the builds to determine which specific person it is. Context is important. If we just take their words at their literal meaning, Hoody might not even be human at all. He could be another monster. Or a duck.

So, call it baseless, but at some point, we're going to have to draw a line, & say, "Okay, I think we can reasonably assume that they're not gonna cross this." And we're going to have to do that without some official confirmation to use as a crutch.

Though speaking of that line, don't they ever use pronouns when referring to Hoody?

^I agree with you. We need to be reasonable.

And a thing I think we should take into account is Jay's point of view since he is supposed to see the real Hoody, I mean, IG Hoody is not supposed to change his body build... or yes? If he does, it would mean that Hoody is more than one person, but Jay never said anything related to this, and he has been in Hoody's presence, so he would had noticed something as obvious as that. I also think that Jay would said something if he had noticed that Hoody had a femenine body, because it would low the options of who Hoody really is and I think it would be easier for him to distinguish between a female or a male shape because of being in his/her presence. But, when he is talking about Hoody, how he refers to him? Always as 'the hooded person'? Has he ever said 'the hooded man' or something like that?

Despite of if he had said that or not, I'm sure Hoody is a man.

Thanks to entry 68 I'm almost positive it is Brian.

Low and behold it fits very well. Especially the nose, eyes, mouth and hair. As well as the eyebrow bone.

Here is a link to the album with the pics.

>Thinking Hoody is female

Troy and Joseph both play Hoody on occasion

I don't care how baggy the clothing is; you don't have a full-grown man play the part of a female character

@censura: I agree that it's probably Brian, but since I want it to be Seth so bad...

Brian's face still looks a little more round, and his nose is slightly different.

Also that one entry (51?) seemed to imply that Brian is dead, unless he came to and managed to escape from Alex.

Seth's fate is more ambiguous. We're not even necessarily sure if Alex was killing people off at that point.

If I remember correctly, Seth was the last one to disappear. So it's obvious Alex was attempting to kill Seth

Yes, if I remember correctly, Tim brought Alex there. And Alex said Seth and Brian were coming later that night and then Alex attacked Tim.

So I'm going to cast my vote for Brian. Big surprise there. I don't think I need to say anything, because pretty much every line of reasoning has been given. They are making it so obvious that it's Brian that either it's Brian, or an unnecessarily elaborate red herring.

It makes sense that Brian is Hoody because Brian's house was trashed by Alex/Operator and Alex really wanted to find Hoody. Also, the house was full of water bottles like Hoody had at his compound thing in 68. Although it could be from Tim, it's not too likely.

A lot of people seem to be thinking that Seth does the editing in TTA/Hoodie videos because he was the camera man but that doesn't make any sense.

1. There's only been a few times where it's been said "Seth is operating the camera" and one of those times was Entry 9 when he kinda seemed like all he really knew how to do was hit record.

2. Just because he knows how to work a camera and may have been the cameraman for most/all of Alex's Marble Hornets stuff doesn't mean he knows how to edit it. I mean I can carry a camera around and record stuff to make a movie, that doesn't mean I magically know how to record it. We've never had anything say "Seth edited the tapes"

3. The common "he would have access to the footage because he was the cameraman". I don't agree with this. Even if he was the cameraman, he was using Alex's camera(s) and with how paranoid and everything Alex was during filming, i HIGHLY doubt that he's let someone borrow footage for editing the movie.

Point 3 is where you lost me. They're finding tapes all over the place. Alex wasn't very good with keeping it to himself.

I thought at one point (I remember Jay was wet from the rain and they were in a barn?) They mentioned Seth was editing or putting finishing touches on some clips.

But if that isn't the case, didn't they mention that Brian went to school with Alex? That should mean he took editing classes.

I will look at the wiki later to check these

Well, who do you think was shooting entries #12 and #20? The fact that #20's cameraman was focusing on the sick Tim very much suggests there's something going on.

I'm guessing that while Alex was the director, Seth was his director of photography, or something.

I'm torn between it being Brian and Seth.

It makes sense for Hoody to be Brian, given his connection to Tim. If Tim is the source of all of these problems, the first in the group that the Operator stalked, and then spread to the others, it would make sense for Hoody to be Tim's friend. We've learned that Brian was Tim's first friend at college. Just the fact that Brian has appeared in several entries since season one, and has been mentioned several times, leads me to think that Hoody is Brian. Why mention the character so many times, have him back, if not for that to be the reveal? Seems a long way to go for a red herring.

Seth is another good guess. Seth was the camera guy in the Marble Hornets days. Seth had access to the tapes, which would explain a lot of stuff on the totheark channel. We've seen Seth in an archived tape early in season three. Not as concrete an argument as the one for Brian, I know, but still a possibility.

Yes. Alex mentions that him and Seth got enough footage to begin putting together a trailer. He never straight up says he's the editor but it's definitely implied.
