Hi all. In addition to the cipher (Props!) & the match whose original internet slogan was 'A spark is all it takes' Cardkeepers has 3 tweets about being blind to reality. Possibly they're more/other than Tower related as Cicilia's (J.E.'s blog) "baby name" means blind . Maybe being nice they retweeted my tweet about seeing clearly?

Turns out I missed all of page 43. However, adding a smiley did not help with the tone.

Not sure what you mean. It was a sincere smiley. *shrug*

Finally! The Cardkeepers update is here. The title is "Digging". It's momentous and unsettling.

We know two towers in particular which were destroyed in the future (Anna's future, I mean). 9/11. Do you believe he tried to change that from happening? Well, did he fail?
Please don't tell me that...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Anna's Mom is dead?
This enthralling blog post made my face do this:
Kudos to the PMs.

First thing I thought of was the twin towers as well. Interested to see where this goes.

The First World Trade Center bombing occurred on February 26, 1993 WIKI Link While it's considered a failure it did take 6 innocent lives. Maybe it's that tragic time-event where/when Anna's father tried to intervene, as Dr. Ellershaw claimed to "change current events"? **ditto on being worried about Anna's mom**
And in reply to my sending him the Precipitatiom Map (LINK) from J.E.'s blog & asking about his Keeper history Aiden wrote:
That's an interesting map, Amandel. I'm with you in that I don't really understand its significance, but I do know that nothing is random, especially when it comes to the Keeper mission. I hope that you come to understand its significance, and when you do I hope you share it with me.
As for my role with the Keepers and what I know about the organization: I am Keeper of the fire element, which means different things depending on the layout of the cards and the context of the reading. Fire also means different things depending on who is choosing the cards and who is reading them.
Fire can certainly be dangerous and destructive, but it also contains energy and vitality. It relates to momentum, will, the power to act, etc. This momentum, like any fire, needs fuel to keep going. Even though fire can be perceived as powerful, it is actually the least powerful of all the other elements, because it depends on so much to keep it going. Fire actually has very little endurance on its own.
Fire can be harnessed, directed, utilized for the good. It can also be fed and fueled by destructive, angry and negative forces. Finally, it can simply die out and disappear.

Thank you very much, Amandel, for pointing out that incident. I was only 3 at the time, so I never even heard about it. I think I remember seeing something about it later in life, possibly after the 9/11 attacks, I don't know.
At any rate, it's weird to me to consider such attacks a failure. People died -- in the eyes of evil (forgive my oversimplification of motives and morals here) -- that's a success. But, also in the eyes of evil, not disturbing the lives of as many people as you intended to -- that would be a failure. But to me...people dying from another's hand is always bad...so it feels weird to consider it a failure...and that poor unborn child...surely the least aware of all the victims...yet...Sigh.
Ahem. Anyway, I agree with you that the tower Mr. Collins likely tried to save was the North tower in 1993. I guess that means he succeeded in saving the tower? At least for a few more years?
I'll be in my corner of doom and despair over there .
(Aside: I'm practically dying for more updates right now. I MUST know what happened to Anna's mom! )

I bet due to her chain smoking she set fire to her own house.
Well...at least that's what the official report will say.
The most important part is that Anna was considering re-visiting her Dad's office for any clues she might have missed. Potentially those clues are now gone.
Interesting stuff!

Yep! According to Aiden in a previous email when I asked what is the most common cause of house fires, the reply was
