My guess would be he either used up all the bullets in entry 67 and ditched the gun somewhere/lost it, or he has it stashed away.

So either Hoody has it, or no one does.

Its entirely possible jay has the gun, and doesn't want Alex to know what he has to protect himself... Or goody has it and was just messing with Alex. Its kind of impossible to tell, point being at this point its been well established that everyone in the series is untruthful to some degree so how can we really believe what any of them SAY? We can really only believe what we observe them to do. Gosh it's like real life.....

Not necessarily. I mean, we know that's not the reason she ended up at the hotel, but she may have genuinely been kicked out at some point. Without Amy around to help split the cost, Jessica herself might have not been able to pay the rent and really did get kicked out.

I personally think it's more probable that she was telling the truth. If she didn't get kicked out, why would she stay in the hotel? There was no reason for her to stay in a hotel that was creeping her out when she had a home to go back to. And supernatural creepiness aside, why would someone pay to stay in a hotel that was in the same town they lived in?
