The series is dead. The channel closed recently.

I don't think it needs to be locked just because it's dead, also why would you necro it just to say that? I can see maybe labeling it as dead, but no need to lock it unless a bunch of needless chatter happens or a fight breaks out.

well, if the channel were open I could see leaving the thread open since there would still be material to discuss and look at in the future. however, a deleted series, i think would warrant a lock as any necroing of the thread would not likely hold any significant information, or any real interpretations.

True... but in a series with only one line of communication with the audience... how does that work? It's like having a business with only one location... but then locking the door and taking down all the signs and giggling behind the door when your customers come by because they don't realize that it's all just part of the shopping experience. It's not like there's a twitter feed or a "proxy channel" to tell the audience what the heck happened.

It also destroys all "replayability." No one will ever be able to go back and experience the series from the start. Even if you replace the videos, what do you do? Put up a sign that says "Pretend all the previous videos got deleted and then move forward?"

While I agree that the concept of this series sounds a little strange (and that goomba made ANOTHER CHANNEL). I kinda liked the idea of living cursed Pinkamena plushie, or whatever. Too bad the channel was deleted before I even got a chance to check it out.
