 		Just wanted to say, you guys really gotta stop throwing outside assumptions into your theories (such as whoever said jessica lying = maybe she drinks a lot and gets thrown out of her house - wtf?)

Basically any time you give the character a backstory that is not ever shown to be there, it is not a sound theory, it is a made up idea. Saying "well jay's thought process is probably xxx, so yyy will probably occur" is another example of making things up to fit your idea. You don't know what the character is thinking. Every main character in this series lies, including Jay.

If your assumption will result in you saying "maybe" it doesn't make for a tight theory, it makes for one looser than the operator's butt

And before someone goes "well a theory is just an idea!" - sure. I'm talking about separating the boys from the men, in terms of theories, though.

Jay doesn't lie. I can tell by the way he handles his camera that it's always been his dream to build a working jetpack, and the only way people are going to give him the supplies he needs to do that is if they trust him, so it's not in his best interest to lie, so he's going to make himself as trustworthy as possible.

Yes, so much, there are huge volumes of text I just gloss right over around here because they're wild, improbable suppositions based on hearsay & overcomplications.

Take the "Alex controls The Operator" theory, for instance. This is built on so many assumptions, the fact that none of them have been confirmed so far means it's very unlikely that it's true.

Usually there's at least a few posts a day. Haven't seen any in the past few.

Also Jay lies way more than once. Maybe only once to us, but he lies to alex/tim/jessica multiple times

 		Just thought I would argue semantics, but we are all stating hypotheses. A theory would be a hypotheses that has practically been proven true. Some popular theories would be Tim = Masky and Jay = Lacking common sense.

Anyway, thought I would "contribute" since I haven't been on in a while
