Exactly. If it were that big of a deal, you wouldn't think he'd go, "Huh. I don't really see anything. I'm gonna head back."

Maybe whatever's over there isn't obvious

The real importance of the tunnel:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It drains water from one side of the highway to the other without flooding the road. I'm sorry for being a smartass.

Front Side:
- Rocks outside the opening.
- Almost always puddles on the "floor" of the tunnel.
- Trees at least 15 feet away from the tunnel opening. No vines.

Back Side:
- No rocks.
- "floor" appears mostly dry.
- Vines, almost immediately outside of the tunnel opening.

We don't know if there's no rocks there. I don't think we've ever seen an angle at the end of the tunnel that would show the area where the rocks would be.

@Bernie Buddy

rewatch da vidyas before you say anything. (also, is that the Operator behind the vines, or just another example of the Where's Waldo effect?)

oh wait, you did. I didn't think that was a reply to me. Anyway, here's what you said:

If he already made it to the other side, that makes the buildup to "what's on the other side" rather anticlimactic.

But nobody said that the big mystery was going to be immediately on the opposite side of the tunnel. For all we know, the mystery could be a mile's walk from there. But since there's a layer of vines obscuring the view, I'm gonna take an educated guess and say that it's not far beyond the vines.

The part about "Masky is the key" is convoluted & based on nothing at all.

Most MH theories are. In a series with such a narrow scope, we don't have a whole lot to work with.

This is the entrance:

This is before they've even gone into the tunnel and the hill is already covering about half the rocks.

The rocks at the front entrance are at a lower elevation than the floor of the tunnel. If water is supposed to flow through the tunnel, then the front is "downstream" for the water flow, and thus the back must be "upstream". If there are any rocks near the back entrance, they would visible, because they'd have to be at a higher elevation, unless they're hidden behind the vines.

Vines. VINES. Say what you want about rocks, but there are no vines at the front entrance.

Yeah, that's clearly the other side of the tunnel.

Jay even said he was on the other side. Why is this being debated? Must be the boredom.

I feel like most of the debates on this forum spawn from people misunderstanding things that are clearly shown in the entries.

I guess I should've made this more clear, but wasn't arguing about which side of the tunnel he was at anymore.
