My guess it is part of the stuff Jersey's dad gave him to remember the "good old days". Eitherway it made for a pretty funny moment.

The Odyssey is still known and referenced by people now, 3000+ years after it originally occured, so I'm sure they have knowledge of Star Wars, especially since there are millions and millions of copies around the world, and they're easier to keep around too.

The real question is do they know about the Star Wars Kid. Razz

I dont know, when you accualy travel around in space and have accual storm troopers in full body suits i would think it would be hard not to know the Imperial song. besides if they still got Stormy Weather they still got Starwars.

I did think that was freakin funny though Laughing

So, that's what it is ... I was wondering what that was, but I couldn't place it. Yeah, I'd say that the original version of the first trilogy will still be popular in 2552, since that's how long it's going to take for the un-buggered version to come out on DVD.

Need I say it?
Greedo ... shoots ... first.

um... yeah I'm with bugbbq. sorry but it wasn't the imperial march, it was the standard funeral music you hear in almost every looney tune and other places galore.

I somehow doubt ILB has a budget big enough to afford licensing that tune just for Jersey to hum it for a few moments.

Technically if it's less than 9 seconds, and since we don't pay for I love Bees directly, (as in, no money is exchanged for the wave files), they COULD get away with it.

They didn't.

But they shoulda. :p

[OT] And Douglas Adams!

The Hitchhikers' Guide to the Galaxy is also popular in the future. Remember Durga's quote: Space is big. Really big.

I love the suble references in ILB. They're awsome. Like the RedvsBlue one - Jan shoots the guy in the foot, like whats his name does to Caboose.
