Well, the blog posts seemed interesting and the blogger girl is super cute, so I'm gonna at least follow what happens on the website in one hour. If it's something good, I'm in.

Edit: Okay, that blog you linked, belongs to Vicki. Her housemate is April and she also has a tumblr. I'm pretty sure they're part of this, but if it happens that they're not, I'm gonna follow them anyway, because they are hilarious

Edit2: My timer already hit the zero and nothing happened so I guess the real showtime is in and hour and a half since UK is two hours behind us. It's already over midnight here, so I'm gonna have to come back to this tomorrow.

But is my countdown different from everyone else's? Mine is showing that it will start about 6.5 hours from now (which will be midnight my time; 7AM in the UK).

Guessing it's soon going to revolve around the creepy "tunnel thing" mentioned in Vicki's blog. Hoping it's not another Slenderman thing...

I have nothing to add to the conversation just yet, but I wanted to note here that I am also keeping an eye on this ARG-thingy and am so far very interested by the premise.

Hopefully what is to come will be something to amaze.

I am more than worried about April. Did anyone else hear the weird sound distortions in that Being Ill video? Isn't there a program that can pick up on those things and decode it for peoples?

I tried messing around a little with Audacity but I couldn't make anything in particular out of the distorted sound clips. At one point a bit near the end sounded like it had a word like "ha....te" but you can make any random garble sound like words if you get to the right speed and I couldn't get anything similar from the other portions.

I thought the April Can't Sleep II video might have had something because of that long black ending that it has, but I didn't find anything there either except for a very short return to white noise sound at the very end.
But does anyone else see white lines on the right in the preview of that black area (like when you hold your mouse over the video timeline on Youtube) but then see nothing when the actual video plays?

Of course, someone else might want to play around with the audio more and see if they can get anything from it.

Yeah I see those white lines too, but it's probably compression tearing of some sort.

Also, I don't want to out the creator, but he hasn't bothered to cover his tracks and it looks to be his University project (possibly a dissertation project), so I'm not sure it'll be the most sophisticated game. At the moment it is looking like a pretty standard MarbleHornets/Slenderman riff

Yeah, I found the creator pretty easily too... Still, I like grassroots games so I'm okay with that aspect of it.

The general feel is pretty Marble Hornetsy to me but I'm staying on just long enough to find out if maybe--just maybe--he's going to make something slightly original from this. But as soon as it begins to clearly point to anything Slenderman-y, I'm peacing out though. :\

I'm right there with you bluesylvia. I'll stick around so long as it goes somewhere interesting (though I'll probably keep my eye on it anyway, as the acting is actually quite decent for a grassroots project like this.)

So I started to read Tom's blog because, even though it's a book of information to read, I thought there might be something in it.

Can I first just say holy mother, is the South Hampton Heritage site a completely terribly designed site or *what*?

Anyway, the "cyhyraeth" is likely what was encountered in the culverts, and probably (?) what was seen briefly as a shadow in one of April's videos (can't sleep II). The pagan group that reportedly used the culverts called themselves the "nifer o cyhyraeth" which translates from Welsh to mean "[a] number of cyhyraeth." It's known for its low moaning sound and penchant for bringing death. So maybe there was supposed to be some low moaning within April's latest vids?

But yeah, creepy shadows, doors opening by themselves and other ghost stuff. I'm definitely in. Haven't read Tom's blog yet or watched all of the archived videos, but I'm getting there.
