I know, I'll have to submit a vine clip from my unboxing video, flying the pewter Enterprise, with flare! Laughing

I'm guessing the ARG isn't going to happen. I have to say its retarded that we all signed up and now we have to sign up all over again. And for a $2 prize, i'm so confused.

Is that it? somebody let the champagne go flat before they opened it.

ETA You know I wonder if the sudden Europe switch to May 9th for the opening flatfooted them and caused them to pull the plug.

Or in the only spot which isn't allowed to enter anything... Quebec.

and that's the hidden link in the trailer was for?
the international signup and all the wait for nothing. that's ridiculous!

if there is something still to come, why can't they keep it real and do their photo contest for only national residents somewhere else?

i'm going back, INTO DARKNESS !

That's a good point; why did they advertise their US only sweepstakes in the International trailers?!

Same guys that did the Prometheus ARG?
Because it appears to have that level of sophistication

I think a 'friend' of Abrams or his LOST team reckon they can do ARGs and have proven via Prometheus and STID that they can't.

The Cloverfield game was a once off.

I bet the reward will actually be something huge and non-retail; a value not measurable by retail sale. Those 'chosen few' get a chance of a lifetime =P
Seems kind of counter intuitive though if so. The contest wouldn't draw in crowds that marketing requires, and only serve to make the willingly not-chosen fans furious if the rewards are actually 'worth' far more than $2...

Maybe the 1701 chosen will receive the trailhead for the actual ARG?

Remember the last time they dropped the hints in photos at that Cobra Snake site. Maybe they are dropping the hints in the photos being posted?

I submitted mine and noticed a few other UF regulars submitting too. Since it's a random selection I put in as little effort as I could. Smile I Still think I put in more than $2 worth of effort though.

I wish you all $2 of luck (rounded up to compensate for the exchange rate). I hope you will share pictures of these undoubtedly amazing prizes if you win them. Wink
