Yeah, looks like Amy and Alex were together much longer than I originally thought... although Alex's reaction to the Operator here also implies that this took place in the early days of their acquaintance (barring any possible interactions during his childhood).

Yeah, I found it interesting how he lied to her in order to do some slendy-investigating. That and hiding the camera from her from what we saw at the end of season one... clearly he was either trying to protect her... or?

 		First thing's first. Romantic Alex is just straight up creepy. At least he lied at the end of the call to balance it out a bit.

Maybe he was trying to protect Amy somehow? Trying to leave no mention of her in any of the tapes he gave to Jay? Besides Amy's involvement in this entry, I don't really see what sets this apart from any other tape he gave to Jay.


On another note, Could someone possible try & transcribe the entire phone call from both sides, for the sake of clarity? I could make out some of what Amy said sometimes.
