Now that all's said and done... What are YOU doing with the 4+ hours of soundfiles you now (probably) have stored on your computers?
I, personanlly, am making audio files to use as several prank calls to a certain friend of mine who... does terrible prank calls. The "refrigerator is running" call is getting old - even before he did it once. On the other hand, "Access violation, access violation" ... ^_^ If anyone wants a copy of it, I'll post the .wav

I can spare the 250mb that it takes up...
Maybe listen to them for old times sake after playing through Halo 2.

I'll burn the files to cd's and listen to them on the way up to Chicago. Oh, we're to 5 hours now, fyi.

I plan on putting them togather on cd for some sort of ILB box set. I will be putting something inbetween each weeks audio to denote the passage of time between each one. Hopefully there will be enough songs by the people of the forums to use. I will also put the live phone calls in thier propper place so that we get a feeling of how our side of the game went. something like that. Then I can anoy my friends with it on long roadtrips.
This by the way is recomended for all makeing the trip on the 4th

I plan to splice the chapters up to fit a better timeline (some threads take place simultaneously, thus jumping from scene to scene) and ordering them into an MP3-cd... it would take a whole bunch of audio cd's. But one mp3 cd that is playable on mp3-cd supporting players is good enough for me. Then they're also stored as mp3's that can be copied to anyone's computer too, which is very handy...

i second that centipede
actually thebruce, most of us have all the sound files, we just need a "good" dramatic order for them... luckily some stories have the windup/down break in the middle of them, giving hints of how/when they all fit together/happen

well that's what the axon plot is for now and that's what creepy will be when it's done... a beginning-to-end storytelling of ilovebees... not necessarily every single event will be covered (who wants to look through 50 pages of forum threads fo all interaction?), but the meat and bulk of everything...
the different is, when I read over the Beast review, it seemed like that was a lot more relient on puzzles and mysteries and such, whereas ilovebees is heavy on the storytelling, so it would be much easier to lay out like a novel... fan fiction if you will...
who knows... I don't know if I'll end up hosting the enormous MB's of edited wavs that can be recorded as audio tracks - way too much bandwidth - but at least the individual wavs will still be linked (likely from arg's resources if ilovebees.com goes offline in the future) in order of the story, so people can do with them as they please...
but personally, yeah I'm sure I'm going to take those chapter audios from humpty and split them up by scene instead of chapter so they can be organized linearly... then who knows, maybe I'll offer to make copies for people if they want, likely as mp3-cd's or audio if absolutely necessary

Should the game audio be added to an addendum disc? Stuff like SP talking to crew, Melissa chatting it up... I must admit I haven't kept good track of all these, unlike the story audio. Just mentioning this for a complete audio record.

I work at a college radio station and I am considering running part or all of the wavs as a radio drama on my show this Saturday. It all depends on how much time I can squeeze out of our program director. You can hear the results, if any, at WQKE.org, or if you live near Plattsburgh, on 93.9 FM.
The show is on Saturday and starts at 10am.

You might want to contact Bungie to see about broadcast rights. Microsoft has legions of lawyers with mountains of paperwork and sharp teeth.

If you want to get technical, I haven't seen any copyright notices on any of the pages of ILB or any warnings at all not to redistribute, etc.
Of course, they probably did it that way for the full immersion effect of the ARG. So if one were nice, one would wait until the game is over and the people who produced ILB step forward so one could contact them and ask if it's ok to broadcast.

Bungie will deny knowledge.
Microsoft Marketing MAY possibly allow it, but they'll make you pay for it.

Unfortunately, it is all too often literally true. A mentor of mine was a litigator with a large California firm for a while. A plaintiff hired a little law firm to sue one of their large corporate clients. The plaintiff's counsel filed.
A few days later, a parade of white trucks arrived at the smaller firm. Men began to jump out of the trucks and unload cartons...and cartons...and cartons of documents into the firm's lobby. Hundreds of cartons. The two firms reached a settlement almost immediately.
One of the lawyers here once bragged about how he literally buried opposing counsel in paperwork: "They couldn't even get their front door open!" It was a real knee-slapper, the way he told it.
Consulting: When you're not part of the solution, there's often a great deal of money to be made from complicating the problem.

I was just trying to burn the week#_subject#.wav files and it wouldn't let me. I haven't spent any time trying to figure it out yet, any ideas?
I was hoping to listen to all of it on the car ride up to NY on thursday. Maybe they'll play in an ipod?
