Kosinski talks about Tron 3!

Slightly off topic, and I know its not the update you are REALLY interested in, but I talked to Joseph earlier this month and I inquired about Black Hole.

"We just started on the script..."

Which i guess is covered in the above, but thought i'd mention it.

I know in this day and age you should never believe anything on the internet. With that said, I'd like to know who the bozo is at IMDb that a) thought Tron 3 was coming out in 2014 (last updated in December 2012), and b) is said bozo is the same who hasn't updated the date for the possible release with what recent information has been documented.

Because while Disney holds great power I really don't think they have a whole movie kept secret that they're planning to release to the unsuspecting masses.

Maybe I should get another cup of coffee...

This is good news.
I was very worried that the whole Tron franchise got shelved when Disney bought Star Wars. I hadn't heard anything since the acquisition, which really bothered me.
I'm very happy to know things are still moving forward. This is a very reassuring article even if it offers no new news.

They're interviewing Joe Kosinski on the Oblivion blu-ray release (excellent movie IMO) and the last 10-15 seconds he's asked in the video about the Tron sequel.

Another small piece of information, from an article on Blastr.com, talking with Tron: Legacy co-writer Adam Horowitz...

"As for a sequel? Horowitz promises it is still "chugging" through development, and they hope to announce something soon."
