Can non-recruits play Halo on Nov 4? Hey I was wondering if I can play Halo on Nov 4. But I did not go to any axon locations and become part of Melissa's crew. I also read a few posts that were looking for more people to come. I'll try emailing Dana or some1 with this question.
-Cause I wanna play HALO 2 really bad (i'll probably dominate the first few rounds also

YES. Non-Crew can go. Just go to the 404 page, Melissa+ has it pretty much spelled out how to do it now.

Yup. Just let Melissa know you're coming, using Dana's e-mail address. Apparently she's been asking her crew to get more people to come, so you shouldn't have any trouble. You can also try just showing up to one of the four sites on Thursday, but I'd recommend an RSVP.

Oh, by the way, if you haven't been following ILB, you might not know about this: Be sure to register yourself under the name "Thin Kinkle" when you start playing. It unlocks all sorts of secret Halo-ey goodness.
Ain't I a stinker?

<sigh> Because, of course, when asking a group of strangers for help, advice or information, bragging is guaranteed to instantly win their affection.
Register as Thin Kinkle, "genocide." And come to Chicago. We'll have all sorts of Haloey goodness waiting for you.

Understanding is not required. Only obedience.

that is the surprise... not everyone knows about all the haloeey goodness this may/may not unlock, but in multiplayer, it behooves you to hurry up and try to register that username 1st so you get all the secret goodness (I have an insight as to some these, but I do not think it wise to post this in the forum as it may create a frenzy to take the name... if you want to ask more, PM me)

I don't want to spoil the surprise or anything, but you could always try to Search for Thin, in these very forums. Either way, it should work just as well in New York City as in Chicago.
I can't do it. I tried, but I just can't do it. Gotta give 'em a chance .

awww, genocyde???? you got mad skillz if think you dominate the first few games. I hoped to hear of your exploits against other feeble mortals in a way as to rival that of master chief against hordes of covenant, but if you are afraid, I understand. (just having fun with ya... promise I am not laughing at ya. hehehehe)

Lol i'm pretty sure i'd whoop butt the first few rounds cause my neighbor has the french pirated version, which I kick every1's butt who plays it over there. I'm saying that i'll dominate the first few cause most of the people don't know how to play Halo 2, so i'd have a little advantage.....P.S. I hate my neighbor and any1 else with the illegal copy of halo2

Oy vey. The whole learning thing seems to escape...
No, never mind.
Genocide, if you're sooo sure, then register as Thin. Your name means you can kill lots of people, right?
Schmuck.
So what are you afraid of?

But, apparently, not enough to refrain from playing it enough to "kick every1's (sic) butt who plays it over there."
