Checking in! I'll head over to SF as soon as we finish the axons in Berkeley. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

I used to be good at FPS games, but that was a long time ago and I never could handle the controls on console ones. If we do play Halo 2, Melissa might demote me!

Trynna make it.

I'm in santa cruz, only 70~80 miles away.. but I don't have a car. that, plus the fact I've got classes the next morning (at 8 AM) puts me in a bit of a bind...

I can make it over there fine thanks to greyhound or amtrack/caltrans. getting back is the problem.

I'll need either a ride back to Santa Cruz when everything is said and done.. a place to crash until I can catch a bus/train home early next morning, or a cheap cheap hotel, again, so I can stay somewhere until I can catch something mass transit back down to SC

All else fails, I can just rest at a bus/train station in SF with armfulls of swag for an hour or six.. it'll be worth it.

as for a pic: I am the one blinking strangely at the weird girl

Confirmation Rules

I'm going and definitely want to hang out afterwards with as many beekeepers as are around.

I'm the funny "serious" looking guy to the left of Cpl. pants and his red hat.

I was checking the metreon loews schedule (for any time gaps on thursday). AN dnoticed they're gonna show the incredibles at 12:01 am. Anyone who doesn't need to sleep that night interested in going after our little argfest-con?

Sounds good to me. We can maybe kill some time at Mel's and then go see the movie. I'll be up all night anyway. Cool

I'll be around for a little while afterwards, but I will have to blast out of there for Reno if I want to get any sleep. Should be able to squeeze in an hour though.

I will need to go to work on Fri Nov 5th, so I will not be able to stay up late. I have scheduled to take off the Thu Nov 11th and Fri Nov 12th to celebrate Halo with a four day weekend! Twisted Evil

now the question is: preorder tickets for the incredibles or not.

Sinc ei've never been there and have no idea how popualr the metreon is, i'd guess yes.

http://www.fandango.com/theater.asp?theater_id=AANEM_LIVE&refreshdate=11/4/2004&chain_id=SONY

I have an idea - make yourselves temporary badges with your avatars and names so we can find each other at the event, gang! I actually have my alien badge, I'll wear that.
