Looking for anything like that that could "possibly infect the network of the school and put other students at risk" (real quote from an IT guy).

EDIT: Also, the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft is glitched so that animals will randomly despawn. I went to all the trouble of fencing off pastures and filling them with cows, pigs, and sheep of varying colors and *POOF*, they're gone. So yeah, rage, it's irritating as fuck.

It's a fantastic game. You play on XBL, Teedub?

Also, I retract my previous rage. Turns out that animals are deliberately set to despawn if they can move at least 20 blocks in any direction. Built smaller pens, no despawning. So it was user error.

I play it on the PC. Although I've played the Xbox version. I play online on the PC version often, and I actually have my own server, but I really don't use it that much. Usually only when a friend and I want to play without others or something.

And I've never had an animal despawn on me, only slimes that I've attempted to keep as pets Sad

Supposedly, it's to help balance when and where mobs spawn in your world. Animals don't need a lot of space to begin with, but it would have been nice to have known about the block limit going in before I wasted a ton of resources on my first failed farm.
