 		Welp, whilst we wait
... in the silence before #71, and before Clairabel posts the LITS drawing she's done, I noticed that one of her Tumblr fans (godtricksterloki) has decided to "ship" Claire and the Shoe Troy Has Given Us. Claire responded with a request for fanart. I'm not sure this qualifies, but... Wink

    My Encounter with the Slendershoe

    "Well, now that we understand one another, there are a few things I'll be requiring of you," murmured the Shoe.

    Good Lord, thought "Claire," her cheek still smarting from the slap, is it possible that any piece of footwear, anywhere, ever, has managed to be so scathing and yet so madly seductive at the same time?

    Attempting to still her ragged breathing somewhat, she looked through the tangled mess of the hair hanging in her face at the shiny grommets. How cold and impersonal they seemed. How she longed to stroke them with her fingers. Taking another deep breath to steady herself, she asked quietly, "Yes, what do you want me to do?"

    "'Yes, Sneaker, what do you want me to do?'," the Shoe prompted pedantically, still using that icy and yet scorchingly hot tone.

    Really? thought "Claire," Really? Is it absolutely necessary that I surrender every last bit of my dignity? She regarded the Shoe again. Such a study in contrasts: white against black. So apropos.

    Biting her lip and blinking back tears, she replied, head lowered, "Yes... Sneaker... what do you want me to do?"

    "That's better," purred the Shoe. "I think I'll have you start by loosening my laces... " And, gasping slightly as she began to comply: "Not too much! Ah, that's good, good! Now I want you to take my tongue out..."

Edited to add: I shouldn't have to say this, but apparently I need to. The stuff above is a parody. Not serious. A joke. Shiz & giggles. I do not seriously ship Claire & Shoe.

I need my own fucking coding tag, don't I? Like a ['spoiler'], except ['deadpan']: would that make it obvious?

 		I avoided this thread fearing what I might find in it. Now that I've read it, I see that those fears were justified. Had forgotten, though, that the people on this forum can make almost anything funny. Also I got the Southpark reference, Serum.
