how old is old in perplex?

ok heres a bit of wild spec so if its been mentioned before just ignore or carry doing whatever you were doing b4 reading this thread.Has anyone else noticed that perhaps perplexians seem to live and are much more active than us poor humans. For example in the latest copy of the sentinel i read about Florence Alvarez who is a 96 year old greengrocer who fought off a vandal go on girl.I dont know about you but the only 96 year olds i know are unfornately as active as to run her own shop and fight off a vandal. Also im sure there are other examples of major longevity which if anyone wants to post below or why this seems to happen you could post below- it could be the air or something sente puts in the water.Thank you for reading this Rolling Eyes

[trout] OMG! Dunedain rangers from the norht! [/lotr trout]

It does seem possible - don't forget the advances in medicine they must have over us.

I mean Brede has a shattered leg but they said it shouldn't be a problem to fix - I'm no pre-med but a shattered leg is a serious issue.

Their society is quite more technologically advanced than ours, especially in terms of medicine.

Here are some reference links and info:

Geltman Dies at 91
Prominent author and sociologist Raymund Geltman, known for such ground-breaking works as Age and Identity and Social Contract: Appendix B has passed away in his home at the age of 91. He suffered from complications after a standard heart-reconstruction procedure.

Councilor Takes Sabbatical
City Councilor Roy Yolen will be taking a six-week sabbatical to undergo treatment for leukemia. Yolen's doctors have said that his prognosis is excellent, and anticipate that he will be able to resume his full schedule in good health at the end of this period

Rudon-Birch Weds
Society matron Paulina Rudon-Birch, 103, married 98-year-old Roland Carrick in a private, family-only ceremony in her Ascendancy Point home. The marriage is Rudon Birch's fifth and Carrick's third. The couple have been friends for many years, their publicists said. Together they have five children, twelve grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren

Mima's good health article

the scary things Perplexians can do to brains

Hope this helps Smile

Also, Bri - I was thinking that they all were injured first, by falling down the ravine, encountering some shield, or whatever, and then Brede's key went off which triggered the mechanism for his peculiar injury. But that's better discussed in the Scarlett thread Smile
