 		Season One Card
In an order from Firebox, there was a loose card in the box which isn't that unusual. It was Bar None without a silver scratch panel, so I put it to one side. Picking it up again after looking through my purchases I noticed it was a little different. The Perplex City logo was too bright and the City was grey instead of black. And looking even closer still, it said "Wave 1 Season 1" above the logo.

Ok, so it's not that exciting in that we already know and love Bar None. But I thought you might like to know. The only other difference on the front is that the picture is a little more vibrant. The card also seems to have a slightly different texture to another season 0.5 Bar None.

On the back, a few changes have been made. It's the explanation of how to play as you'd expect, but it's been cleaned up a little. The question mark has been replaced by a picture of the Cube from the magazine. The leaderboard is a screenshot of a whole lot of people in 3rd. The blurb about the hints suggests you go to www.perplexcity.com/hints (not live yet) instead of giving the number and suggests that there will be numbers for different countries. And the background is offset so we can see a little more of the passport at the left hand side. Oh, and "www.perplexcity.com" has been replaced by "perplexcity.com" and there's a paperclip missing.

 		I got two of these Wave 1 Season 1 Bar None cards. Another useless piece of information is that I entered the 12 character codes expecting to get the 'already solved' message but instead got an 'invalid code' error. Oh, congratulations to Juxta, top of the example leader board page on the back.

 		I had one at the start of the week, except mine is "Read Between the Lines".

Noticed that the document on the left is now more visible and can be seen as a passport. Interstingly, one of the key words there is "Immigration" A KLOO?!

The whole image is far paler than the original design. I like the picture of the cube. Shiny! I expect this back will be printed on all the new wave 3 cards.

The names on the new leaderboard bit are all at third place and are:

Ok, so it's almost impossible to tell the difference with this resolution and they're going to be pretty widespread soon enough. But I'm sure someone out there wants this.

I'm also just about to go and post the observations concerning the passport over in the more appropriate thread. It's one of those days when I wish detailed scans were still allowed - there are languages that I don't recognise at all.

EDIT: the thread I was referring to is here, I realised that wasn't obvious when it took me a search to find it.

 		dunno if its been mentioned before, but what's the place/currency at the bottom of the list of reward money?

Why, that is the reward in PCL or "Perplex City Lecks" Very Happy

 		Could it be that with each successive wave, they will shift the passport over a little bit more till we could peice together the whole thing as a clue?

The site is up now, but no numbers for outside UK yet.
