I think 3000 is way to many...can I get a reset back to 1 ?

At least I finally have an avatar after all these years.

Even though it is slightly wider (120) than the 100x100 guidelines? Laughing

Congrats, rose. Worshippy

Resizing my current avatar sorta spoiled it's intended purpose, but I guess rules is rules.

How is it that yours is 120 wide, but appears the same as mine, that's 100 wide? Or aliendial's that is 110 tall. Are .jpgs resized if they get too big?

I don't know the answer to any of those questions. My avatar was made for me as a gift by Puppy Zwolle (thanks again Puppy.) My feeling on avatars is that Space will let me know...or fix it... if he sees it as a problem.

So the rule is for images and not text I guess, for instance, the text of location? It seems that konamouse.blogspot.com is long enough to stretch the width of the columns. But my avatar doesn't at least not in firefox. So I guess we need to come up with a rule for location text that doesn't stretch the frame? I think the reason behind the rule is to prevent the frame from being stretched.

I asked Puppy to fix it for me, I'm sure he will.

Mine got resized at some point - you'll see I lost some pixels at the right and top border.

well at least it was informative... =)

yay 3k!

I agree with sixsidedsquare--you are all very silly. I don't know how he/she meant it, but I highly approve, the sillier, the better.

If you don't want to take the time to fabricate a facsimile of your 3k sidebar content yourself as a souvenir, your majesty, uh, sire, er, The Bruce, uh...(how do you deal with a Scottish title like that, anyway?) with a little PhotoShop work, I'd be willing to do it for you. Just let me know and confirm that you reached your 3K mark on September 1, 2007. You'll also have to let me know what the designation should be over the picture, since I've never actually seen someone at exactly 3K mark.

I am willing to do this for you as you all are like the family I never had...

Uh, wait. I do have a family--and I'm very fond of them. Hmm...you're like the cousins-several-time-removed-that-are-still-alive?

<other>Stop acting silly like that!
<dominant>Oh, shut up I like being silly. I bet you hardly ever come out because you don't like Monty Python.
<other>I bet they're gay.
<dominant> No they're not.

(The last two lines are a paraphrase of two lines in "The Holy Grail.")

And why is it THE Bruce anyway? I mean, couldn't it have been "Robert son of Bruce" or "Robert Bruceson" or even "Robert, one of those Bruce kids"--was he the only Bruce alive at the time? How did the serving wench refer to him--"The Bruce, would you care to partake of the rat's tail pie?" or "Your Majesty, The Bruce, would you care for another cup of wine--er, ale...mead...water..." And did his wife have to say, "Sire, The Bruce, could you remove your boots BEFORE playing footsie? I've already lost a toe this week, and my ladies-in-waiting have all gotten terrible bruises, even after I warned them about my toe the night it happened."

The history teachers never do tell you that kind of thing, do they?
