I may not have been keeping up enough with the translations the last several days (too busy at work and moving so no access at home) but I didn't think those seemed like names...

I read it as more like the "in the name of the father, and of the son, and of the holy ghost" at the end of catholic prayers, some sort of almost ritual invocation..

Yshk is "for", and Lanti is "Atlantis", we're pretty sure about those, right? Not sure how that makes names...

I don't know what's Hebrew about it, but there's definitely a legend of an Atlantis-like lost continent called Mu that was supposed to be in the Pacific Ocean.

There's also supposed to have been a Lemuria in the Indian Ocean. You know, if these were contemporaneous with Atlantis, either one could be the origin of the "others" referred to in the text.
