After seeing this , I'm pretty convinced this is not an ARG (or, at least, it'd better not be, :O MG), which makes it either spam or Various & Sundry at best. I think I'd vote for spam
No, it's some weird cult. this guy seems to be here looking for potential converts.

hey guys this is my first official post although I've been lurking for a while. I found something that might be a clue towards this being an arg. At the bottom of the page you get to choose between the red pill and the blue pill.
If you choose the blue pill it sends you to the MetaCortex home page.
I was wondering if anyone else found this.

So, having no clue what you were talking about, I looked up otakukin in the Urban Dictionary.

Well, this is even better than Scientology.

Sadly, you're only three years too late for the MetaCortechs ARG as I do not see whatever it is that Mr. Spoonman is trying to do as being a MetaCortechs/Project Mu sequel. Especially as there was already a sequel with Metacortechs Reloaded . Unless this is MetaCortechs Revolutions. With completely different characters. And a completely different way of running the game.

yeah I know MetaCortechs is an old game (I wish I had known about it then ) And It still has no changes from 2003. I was just wondering if because there is a link to it from the site in question that this might be an arg. As there is still a question as to what this is. Although most seem to be voting on the side of nut job with too much time.

so, otakukin. um. yeah. they really are real, sadly. I know a couple.
I vote on nutjob who may or may not actually believe himself, but probably does.

When you click the blue pill the idea is that you stay in the fantasy world. in other words he's actually MOCKING ARGs!

RE: the Veritas PDF Altus Veritas. anyone? I know this site seems to be older than that, but it's a little weird, especially considering the metacortechs link.
I don't think the veritas thing proves it's not a game... but i don't think this is a game. I think Mr. Spoonman actually does believe he's Neo, and he's written a book convincing people to join his cult.
Cults have always creeped me out. Big time.

This is actually thoughouly disturbing. And yes, i think this is one messed, whiggidy whacked out guy.
Since Lovek allready called Super Mario, i call Wobbuffett
EDIT: In retrospect, this has to be the most disturbing internet related topic i have EVER seen. Even more disturbing than that DDR fansite soley about the DDR system in my local movie theatre.
EDIT2: Ok, second most disturbing thing. The #1 most disturbing thing on the internet is fellow Unforums member Strings 's avatar. Especially when you watch it over and over for almost a minute while listening to the Cranberries' "Empty"

Nah, I'd have to say this takes the cake for most disturbing th--
Strike that. I've found a genre of erotic Supernatural Fan Fiction devoted solely to pairing Sam Winchester up with Yaks... graphically...
You don't wanna know how I discovered that.

It is. Never in my life had I ever come across a single sentence that summed it up so completely.
I'm here.

Uh-huh. And his fiancee (or did they get married already?) actually believes she is Trinity, I guess. What is it called when people feed on each other's delusions? I'm sorry, I know it's mean to laugh at this, but I can't help cracking up when I imagine how they wake up in the morning: "Neo!! Don't forget to pick up milk on the way home!" "Hey, Trin, have you seen my socks?" Sorry...
