I see what you mean about the countdowns. The shortest one appears to be counting down from 19 days. Clicking on them does nothing, at least that I can see.

Very non-wrong. I remember at least 3 other ARGs/potentials that this came up in, and that's the standard answer given by those 'in the know'. Not as in the PMs, but people who know what they're talking about.

Just a warning; the Ask Metafilter folks decompiled the Flash file and found out what happens at certain dates in the future. If you want to play along in real time, don't read the post! The AskMe link above should probably be spoilered.

You're right about the movie URL, it's a Flash thing. Also, check out the Metafilter discussion I linked to in the first post. They've done a lot of dectective work on this and have come up with some interesting things.

I'm hoping this is an ARG. Have evern only played the Metacortechs one, but it was a lot of fun.
