[PUZZLE] Hex code in first video

I've been looking at this for a few days. My gut feeling is that there is more to be sussed out of our current info.

I grabbed the following screen shots from the first video:

General
Sorry, here's the rest

(My first time posting here, I goofed and hit the submit button too early)

This really looks like hexadecimal to me, and I really think this is supposed to be a map from the coded letters to something in hexadecimal, but I'm currently stumped.

Also, I think NetThreats.org is in game, and I think the ASL is a clue--that NetThreats threw us a red herring. I've looked at it and I think it does repeat. I think it might be the clue to a caesar cipher:

By the way, I'm Misty. Smile I'm a PhD engineering student who is avoiding thesis work. Fun game!

hello and welcome.

as moderator, i have the power to change the tag on this thread, to indicate which game you are referencing, but I myself don't play all the games here and cannot tell from your post which game this is from. sorry.

also, as a registered member, you have the power to edit your own posts; we prefer that over double-posting or replying to yourself. You can even edit this thread's topic title by clicking on the edit button on the first post in the thread, since you started it.

again, we welcome you. friendly reminders like this are meant to be helpful, not scolding, just helping you to "fit in" more easily.

(returning to edit)
I'm told this is Bristel Goodman, so I will add [BG] to the topic. If we had the power to merge thread, I would find where this video was already being discussed and move these posts there. Start a new topic when there is NEW material, so we can keep existing material together in single threads, please. If this is a separate puzzle worth concentrated attention, then i'll add [PUZZLE] to the title to attract attention.

If you go back to the Bristel Goodman trailhead thread, in this post there is a screen cap of the possible code and much discussion follows.

Welcome to unFiction, Search is your friend!!!

catherwood:

I meant to post this at the end of the Bristol Goodman trailhead thread. It is a different set of screenshots than has already been posted there. I emailed Phaedra to see if she could either move this there or help me figure out how to move it. Sorry.

Unfortunately, there is no MERGE function available on uF right now. The only way to do this is for you to post your observation & screen cap (by using the edit function on your last post on the thread). However, I agree with Catherwood, might as well start a new thread if this code/puzzle was never satisfactorily solved (was it???)

i have no problems with starting a new thread for specific puzzle work (now that it has already been started, and we cannot merge). It really does no one any good to post a reply at the end of a 30-page thread to discuss images posted on page 10 (or whatever)*.

Having said that, I just wanted to add a reminder to visit the stickied thread at the top of this forum: [READ ME FIRST] Posting Guidelines -- it helps with issues such as when to post new threads and how to label them.

Now, let's not derail this thread any further, go solve the code!

*p.s., it was on page 2 of that thread, and the images were blurry anyway. http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=289602#289602

Why the two screenshots above are different

The (hex?) in the two screenshots above is exactly the same, except that in the 2nd screenshot one line has been replaced with the numeric code that still hasn't been solved . . .

Im working on the numbers again. I believe that these could be coordinates, that could be the cardinal points?

How do you unlock the gate or open the door? you use a key! Where do you use the key? in the keyhole!

A feature with google maps/earth is the keyhole bbs. Maybe we should look for something there? currently im looking in the area of the Turkish coast/Rhodes. There must be something there.

from video2:
the greek letters correspond to numbers as netthreats said:

Quote:
35 72, 67 96, 13 84, 15

if that is 2 sequences (the 35 is alone on screen, and the other numbers are in pairs. you get

Quote:
35.729684
35.671315

on google maps:
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=35.729684,35.671315&spn=4.954335,20.43457&z=6&om=1

Remember the "last looks" where filmed "off the coast of Turkey"?

And the Greek to number thing could be a clue too.

What YOU can do is help look around in the greek area and around the Golden gate bridge, in the keyhole bbs, to see if someone has posted something there.

Location of the atlantis... VERY close to this place.

This idea is better than your previous post on the other BG topic. Laughing It looks good to me. I keep looking but I get lost. I usually use GPS.

This shows that they used Remote Viewing (RV) in the search for atlantis at cyprus/turkey:
