Okay so I got a reply from Brehon....before I figured out the hard way that's the webmaster. I got that one off the whois....but anyhow...

Are you/Mr's Tatiano and Atkins contracted by or employees of the US government? I would be concerned that if a project had been abandoned, whether it should be revived, what purpose it may serve and any consequence and expense to the citizens motivated by more, particularly reconstructed top secret government projects.

Not sure what you meant about tagging with an update? I wrote "update" because I just got these replies in. Was that not a correct title?

I was responding to a post that was there but got changed by the time I finished...hence the strange incongruent "aside" Wink But no, it's a personal comment on White Sands, I have been there a couple of times and it's amazingly cool. The poster above asked where the Manhattan Project was based, I answered above.

Here are some things I learned:

So, Oak Ridge, TN and Hanford, WA are the two other locations in the Manhattan project.

The next time that Trinity Test Site is going to be open to the public is 4/7/07 (they open one day in Apr, and in Oct, I think.)

Groves went to work for Sperry-Rand after he retired from the military (the company developed UNIVAC)

There's a lot of repeated info on Trinity/Manhattan on the web, making it really hard to get anything new.

DOE and White Sands both have sites dedicated to the projects, but that's either mindless fluff to tell the public, or really indepth stuff that totally goes over my head.

Lastly, given that the apology was a coded message, I can't help but let my mind wander back to Kane's hidden post in founder.php.
