The painted body puzzle

My fingers frozen long ago
Traced a thin trail moving south
From mouth
To toe

Each spoiler tag builds on the spoiler before it, progressively giving more away. The topmost spoilers are merely gentle nudges in the proper direction. The solution is at the bottom.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Layman translation of the clue:
Using his fingers, dipped in paint
The man drew the solution on himself in a trail
Moving from the top of his body
To the bottom

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The clue points us to the solution being a trail marked leading down his body from top to bottom, left to right.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Where is the top leftmost point of writing on his body?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The solution begins with a 3

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Starting at the 3 on his left shoulder, where might a trail go from here?

The trail starts at the 3 and heads down and to the right.

Well that first number is definitely a 3, but what the heck is that next squiggle?

He has to have left some clue as to how to decipher the solution.

Can you find a similar squiggle somewhere else on his body?

"From mouth to toe" doesn't only apply to which direction to read the solution.

It sure is funny how the weird strings of characters all start with an o shape.

Maybe they don't really start with an "o" but rather a "0" (zero)

What else on his body starts with a zero?

He wrote one full string of numbers across his chest to show the way in which they were written, why wouldn't he have done it for more?

Each string of characters on his arms, legs and chest are in a different language.

Each string of characters on his arms, legs and chest are the numbers 0-9 in a different language.

You will have to translate the trail from one language to another...

The first 6 numbers of the solution are found in the trail that starts at the 3, heads down and to the right onto his chest, winds around his bellybutton and onto his left thigh.

The 7th number is very well hidden in shadow, you must move slowly to find it.

The 8th number is not particularly hidden, but remember that the order is head to toe.

The 7th number can only been seen briefly on the right side of his right thigh, directly above the kneecap.

1st character on belly trail, translated through key on left thigh - 5
2nd character on belly trail, translated through key on left forearm - 3

Right thigh - 5
Left shin, translated from center of chest - 7
