NewB here. I must admit I never venture on YouTube (how I found the game) and spent the last few days exploring the blog and elsewhere. Then I came here.

I also must admit I don't quite understand the protocol of said games so I will have to sit out for awhile till I understand. But please, if explaining to a NewB, try not to use lingo they may not understand if they are totally new to this lol.

What is a UF?
IG? (wait I guessed that as Interactive Game. I might not be that ignorant Wink )
OOG?

Any help from anyone would be much appreciated.

 		hey pisces,

dont worry, we were all newbs at one point.

UF means unfiction/unforums. basically this site.
OOG means out-of-game. IG means in game.

this forum is OOG in that we can talk about anything we like regarding thehumanpet, including the cast and crew, continuity errors, predictions etc.

there is also an IG forum for this game at www.finderictaylor.com. the find eric taylor site has been made by Michael Taylor, the father of Eric (the guy we're trying to save in the game).

Michael Taylor is an in-game character so you need to act as if you are in-game when you are on his site INCLUDING ONTHE FORUMS THERE. whatever you do, dont mention the UF forums to Michael (or any other IG character for that matter) as OOG stuff is not supposed to exist from an IG point of view.

although the puppetmasters (the guys behind this game) probably look at the UF forums to see what we're thinking as players, theyre not allowed to use that knowledge against us as IG characters.

so, yeah. glad we cleared that one up, lol. Confused

The main idea is to dig into what we have assembled here and maybe ask here on UF (UNFICTION) before posting elswhere. On some forums it can cause problems if done out of character. In this game we could get Eric killed by doing or saying the wrong thing.

UF = Unfiction - these forums - out of game - safe place to talk about the game where the creators are not alowed to meddle
IG = In game - means characters or places where we interact with the characters to get information or clues
OOG = Out of game - Places that are not in game or something that is not part of the game -
FET = Find Eric Taylor forums - in game
