 		 Update
PM if anything is missing or incorrect (which I'm sure it is). Will edit and repost periodically and will update with exact times shortly.

During discussion of 1-18-08 in the unification forums notethanhaas posted a link on July 5th a 3:37pm but may not be first recorded incident. Regardless, Ethan Haas Was Right (EHWR) forum was born shortly there after.

One of the stars on EHWR gives an email address vansplatehtanhaaswasright.com. The whois infromation for EHWR gave the same email. When emailed "Van Mantra" replies he has to keep moving and gives hints to solve the puzzles. A second email follows (seeming live) and gives a little more info and says to get recruits. After 5 puzzles are solved, you are given a "code" phrase and more or less told to come back on 8-1-07.

On July 6th Coming Soon has an article mentioning 1-18-08.com (aka cloverfield, aka unnamed jj abrams project), EHWR and EHWW
EHWR and EHWW seemeto be opposing one another while trying to convert as many people as possbile to each side. Both sides reply to email albeit not live. Thanks dv8 for the link

In the WHOIS for EHWR was a physical address and phone number in Florida. When the number was originally called the it contained a message from Van. Later (July 7th). Someone discovered the message had been changed by the Mezin (authors of EHWW).

A new post on EHWW site again confirms 8-1-07. Which many are taking that it isn't related to 1-18-08.com. On July 9th AICN Posts a letter from JJ Abrams that pretty much states 1-18-08.com and EHWR are not related.

Somethime on (July 8th) the WHOIS on EHWR changed. Thanks to theonetruebix It now relfects a company called Triton Enterprises . Net. The contact listed was emailed but an autoresponse about moving was sent. Triton (via email) states they make high end cooling systems. Most likely for aerospace or military applications.  		Nice work! It should be noted that Ethan Haas was apparently around in the distant past, kind of like Nostradamus, according to EHWW.

 		Is there anything that points to that ethanhaaswaswrong.blogspot.com is legit? I haven't seen anything that suggest it is, and I'm just curious if I have missed something.

EHWW - mentions Van specifically. EHWR in never specifically mentions EHWW. However the phone number from the OLD WHOIS, had a message from VAN that was changed to MEZIN. The only other source of the MEZIN name is EHWW. That is our only link, possibly a little shakey...

Tweekitten, come join us playing Eldritch Errors. We're knee-deep in Lovecraft (Cthulhu specifically) and the game's kind of in pause mode right now...it wouldn't take much to catch up. The game is a product of the same people that did Benjamin Stove, if that helps. Very Happy

Actually that's very shaky. ANYbody who heard Van say "Mezin" could blog it and claim the name....

I would agree, but we don't know the time frame. Is Van in "Our" time frame or future. Then is Ethan in "Our" past or present.. etc... Just don't have enough info.

Mezins Source Blogs appeared days before Mezin was on the phone. I'll update the "update" to reflect more detail and better time frame.

 		Now THAT changes things. EHWW probably really is legit.

You make a good point about the date, but I think Van specifically states August 1st 2007 (could be wrong about the year), so I don't know what to say to that....

You are correct, but the question is, Since this is an alternate reality, When do the charachters exist. Obviously "we" [read players] are to return on 8-1-07, but that isn't doesn't have to be the time line of the story. I'm just speculating, but following some other games. The city is in flames behind the locks. Is that a prediction? Has that happened before and is from the past? Etc, etc, etc...

We'll just need to wait and see at this point unless one of the sites updates or WHOIS information changes again. I have a feeling Triton wll go live on 8-1.

Nice work. My comments are below in red. Perhaps that's how we may proceed with tagging information; give each category its own color. Blue for fact, green for probable, red for rumor, black for normal discussion. Just an idea.

Honestly, I'd leave out all mention of 1-18-08. As much as I still think there's some connection, there's no solid evidence of it. People here now may understand this, but it only muddies the waters for newcomers.

All I can remember is that it was in Orlando and pointed to a vacant lot. Later (July 7th). Someone discovered the message had been changed by the Mezin (authors of EHWW). I remeber listening to the message, but did they ever say that they were the Mezin? Furthermore, there has never been any proof that EHWW isn't a gamejack or a red herring. I don't know if I'd mix information from solid sources with information from questionable ones. However, if they say they are Mezin on the message and the term was used on EHWW before the message was posted, I would say that lends the site a whole lot of credibility very quickly.

AICN is a blog like any other. Harry saying he has an email from JJ is fishy at best. I don't think that it disproves anything. The email might not have been from JJ or might have been made up entirely. I'd just remove all mention of 1-18 until its otherwise proven.

 		Has nobody worked on confirming EHWR's connection to the RPG, Alpha Omega? I've seen some work done on other sites and I figured everyone agreed on it by now.
