How exactly do you "choose" a "side"? Just send off an email? Saying what?

Not had much experience with ARGs. Except Perplex City.

Well I choose Foo because he chose me. I was one of the first 4 to contact him. and I told him I would not betray him.. just tell them you support them.. so yea email.. sorry brackins I saw this post and had to answer it..Im going back to the Foo side

Man I leave for two days to play GEARS OF WAR and all of this happens well I am picking Brackins side. I never trust people from the future!!!! They know to much, which always puts me at a disadvantage. I need Brackin's E-mail address if someone could post it for me I would greatly appreciate it. I'm not too clear on how this thread and the one for Foo's supposed to work. Is the other one considered off-limits to us?

The only way I can see to doing this is to get a spy in the other camp. Would that be kosher? I mean, Brackin's encouraging it, but I dunno how that'd stand as far as arg-etiquette-appropriateness is concern. I mean, the entire point of setting up the different threads is to keep information separate.

I suppose that we would do it as if it were reality. We cant post privaliged info but from as far as everyone on FOO's page is saying that this is all OOG on this forum. So I am confused. I guess we just cant send AL any info we find on UF.

The problem is that we are being asked to get information that Foo has trusted to his supporters, but since the information shared here are considered OOG, I don't see how we can get that info that way. We would have to consider some of the interaction between us Brackin loyalists and the Foo supporters to be in-game, in order for us to "legally" obtain that info. So that leaves gaining Foo's trust as our only course of action. That, or I've had too much coffee and am over-thinking this.

I don't think that we have to go as far as stepping on the Foofighters feet. I think we will have other opportunities to gather the info we need. Lets be patient and see what we get from Brackin. And we have the info that Foo himself posts on his blog page that should be good enough for now.
