Godzilla has to have been killed off at least 3 times "for good"; the last time was a result of the oxygen bomb that was supposed to have killed him at the end of another movie failing, resulting in a new monster being born with refreshing oxygenating action! Big fight, Godzilla on the ropes, her son jumps out in front of an oxygen beam breath and gets killed, Godzilla goes into a 'meltdown' mode and manages to kill the other monster before her wounds and the stress of meltdown kill her "for good"

But at least now I understand why people keep thinking that it might have been something once thought dead. It might be plausible if that individual knew the whole backstory on the creature that's attacking, but seeing as how it's most likely just a guy running for his live away from a big monster and that Abrams claims this to be an original creation there's just no evidence to support the claim that it's something that's been resurrected.

Why are you being dicks to this guy. just get over it. i hate when people point out the search function like that. there are nice ways to politely do that. and rude people ruin the fun of forums.

A lot of the "hardcores" on the site like to point out each and every thing the newbies do. Big deal. It's the internet, get over it. There are bigger and better thing in the world to worry about. I hardly think the occasional newbie post involving something that wasn't searched properly is really going to ruin the fun we have here.

Again, it's the internet and this is an ARG based on a movie. Save the drama for fighting wars and saving lives.

First off, it seems like new players never read the links in the 'Welcome!' box on the top left of the site. Everyone should read the guidelines.
These were created for a reason, have been around for many ARGs before this one, and greatly facilitate the game. It is especially important to understand properly tagging new threads and yes, using the search to find already discussed topics. And yes, the search isn't perfect so it's understandable that it may not always show that a topic has been discussed before.
And yes, people who've been here awhile can tend to get snippy about using the search and whatnot, but it's because we've sifted through 300 page threads with 20 relevant posts. That's why the TROUT Trout exists, to gently let people know that even though something has been found before, it's always good to keep searching and help out the collective.

And please try to remember that at unfiction, we try to maintain a positive forum, and avoid any negative unless it's the absolute last resort. It's very easy to remind and encourage someone to use the search if they haven't, yes, even if they're new to the forums.
We like the accepting atmosphere here, and we'd much rather jump over someone who's being rude to a newcomer than the newcomer themselves. Please keep that in mind... we're all friends here
