I'd say we're on the right track then. I've been looking at Oxford, but still can't seem to get them all in the same physical location, unless I'm just being dense.

Well Silverback says they're "All in Radcl.Science RSL stack apparently"

I've emailed Jason just as a possible place to check out; I'll see what comes of it.

Did a search for "New Dallas" and came up w/ this... More than likely irrelivent but yeah.

Oh and also this...

That's where I was trying to get all of them located. I'll take his word for it.

I'd lay even money that Jason won't want to go fetch it and one of us will need to get it.

I'm game for going to either place... So long as after all this the PM reimburses my fare Wink

OH! And talks to my lecturer about why I didn't show up lmao

I hope it's in Brunel... By all accounts [Let's go OOG for a sec] if the person who the website is registered to IS the same person I'm thinking, he was a student there too.

EDIT: Email update from Jason.

Hrm. I'm not sure. I don't think it's a film roll. I guess it's hidden on the underside of the shelf, so it's probably not that thick.

I don't personally have access to the library in Oxford. Do you know someone who might be able to fetch it for us? Oh, on another note. I'm sure the message on the fax is related to the picture.

I'd recommend not checking out the place until you're sure that's where it is. Keep me updated!

J.

Firstly nice deduction Toasty

Secondly... Ok he asks about someone going to Oxford but then says not to go anywhere until we're sure.

I've been looking for nicknames for libraries and Universities with that "not old soap" tie in but am stuck...

ALSO: Can't believe no-one suggested this sooner... Maybe "Not Old Soap" isn't a Riddle/clue but an anagram?

Anyone want to help me sift?

Punctuation and capitalization in the note doesn't suggest anagramming to me, but I could be wrong.

Hi Leyton,

I'm not really sure what I'm saying, this is far too much to try and
work out. My friends are missing, people are watching, and now we really
need to find this thing in the photo. I can't think straight any more
really.

I guess I'm just not sure if it'll necessarily be in a place that Martin
or Rebecca went to University, I mean it's possible. But I'm sure
there's hundreds of Universities in the world with those books. Right?

J.

Nice going Silverback... We've had confirmation. - Could you bring your very intelligent self over to http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=486084#486084 now though pls? lol

We're gonna keep it to the P.O thread lol

Has anyone identified the books in that fax picture yet?

Has anyone thought of trying to guess Rebecca and Martin's e-mail account passwords?

On facebook the addresses are given as:

becca.mcdowell81SPLATgooglemail.com
mcdowell2007SPLATgmail.com

I don't suppose they use each other's names as passwords ...

I tried this when the FB profiles were first located... Got nothing so far.

The security question for both is the same "Who was your first teacher"

I've tried Kral, Dani, Dani Keller, Sergay, Sergay Poponov - Nothing

I just, at my own risk... Emailed Jason and asked if he would by any chance know Martins first teacher.

There is no chance that we're supposed to hack their gmail accounts. That would put us in control of a third party asset in the game. We'd be able to change the password and the PMs couldn't get in, plus we could gamejack by sending fake email from the IG characters.

Theoretically, yes, but I have seen this used in other ARGs, presumably trusting the players not to do this. Plus, why give the e-mail addresses? They aren't usually visible on facebook.
