Hi Mikey!
I'm an old rock'n'roller living in dear old London town.
Caught the sci-fi/monster bug when I saw the original King Kong at the age of 6.
BTW, my old dad was born in Allerton. How is the old place?

It's very nice - and just up the road, I'm on lovely Sefton Park . Those from New York take note - it, allegedly, inspired Central Park (though, as yet, there is no Sefton Perk).
[Edit]Four minutes on Wikipedia put paid to that idea - it's Birkenhead Park I was thinking of, which is near my Nan. There's definitely no Birkenhead Perk it's a bit run-down now.

Greetings from the Garden State, New Jersey!
1) I go by the moniker, "dontlookmyage", because I don't (and never plan to!) - always get the comment that my girls and I look like sisters.
2) I'm here, because after seeing the trailer before "Transformers", the geek in me HAD to know what the hell this movie was all about. I try to contribute, but time is not always on my side, so I mostly read and comment. Perhaps one day, I'll have something substantial to add (I hope before the movie comes out!)
3) I work in I.T. as a go-to person on my office for all things relating to computers/printers/copiers, etc.
4) Raviolis - all but seafood (no, please)
5) Added myself to the frappr list before I came to this sticky.
P.S. - I've been to England once - lovely, lovely country (have relatives in Halifax)! Got hit by a black cab in London, though (not so lovely).

Greetings from beautiful Oregon, 36 y/o embittered people-hating Hungarican attention whore here. Author, artist, feminerd.
I'm here because I am a class one escapist, and I'm always up for movies that are full of action, destruction (as long as they don't blow up *too* many helicopters, gull-wing aircraft or B-52s... they lose points when they do that), stomping furious monsters ::thumbs up--large grin::: that enjoy a healthy diet of human-snacky-treats; things blowing up, good CGI and an awesome story; end-of-the-world scenarios are my FAVOURITE--oh yeah... that's my cup of tea. I also enjoy tea, baking and gardening. No. Really.
My favourite pasta? Traditional spaghetti with my ass-kicking made-from-scratch sauce, fresh-ground Parmesan and just a little drop or two of Tabasco sauce.
::waves:: Hi.
Oh, and Joss Whedon is a God.
Oy.

Hello & Help Hey, I enjoyed the trailer when I experienced it before Transformers.
I looked in the FAQ and on WikiPedia some, is there a "definition of terms" post somewheres?
So I know the obvious stuff:
IG - In Game
OOG - Out of Game
But there's some stuff I'm confused by, something that seems to be would be "Dungeon Master" or "Game Master," I tink it's "P-something" ... I lost the thread this came up in. What's the term for what I'd have called a DM or GM?
What is an "ARG"? Is it "Alternate Reality Game"?
Additionally, "META" threads, how should I think about these? I'm not sure about what "META" means in this context.

Glossary Definitions I found links, after posting, to 2 possible sources of defintions, though I don't know yet if the META concept is explained.
Just figured I'd post links to definitions glossary glassaries terms ARG OOG IG and key words.

1. [I am Eranmane, EranExRarne, Supreme Ruler of Kings. Bow before me, lowly mortal, and weep.]
2. I'm a guy who's playing this "interactive viral marketing" (there's something non-ARG about this...) because of the fact that it looks way better than Iris. Also, the 1.18.08 trailer looks cool. At least that's what I think. I'm also waiting for Silverladder to open because that looks really cool but we're still waiting for 11/11 for that.
3. I go to school. Return home. Play PSP. Log onto unfiction. Be unimpressed. Play Guitar Hero. Eat. Sleep.
4. Any seafood pasta. Mmm...
5. Mmmk.
