Spike time correlation

The spikes correspond to the house collapse mentioned in Beths last E-mail. If there are 2 spikes a week apart, then they correspond to both collapses.

I have ben looking around to see if I could find any other indication of coincidence between "computer related" events and "real world" events, but so far no luck.

However, we already seem to have clues pointing to such ocurrances - maybe some investigation into dated supernatural incidents (like the floating cat - has a time code on the images) and events around Metacortex or in the hackersī files?
(Hope to see some more from those guys soon...)

thats a thought. At least it may point to a direction for Avery. Walnut Grove ,AR. There is a reason why this happened in this area.

So what are the "wasabi", "damocles" etc. preceeding "logger"? Do they identify "user" (or whoever logged) or server or what?

I naturally assumed these were the servers, since they are measuring CPU load, but you're right to raise it.

Assumptions have caught us out in the past.

Getting Back to the basics

No one has specifically mentioned "unjust.jpg"

Do we think it's safe to say this is simply;

"You know the Drill"

(ie. You know what to do, just get on with it)
?

No, wait, for completeness - I wanted to put up what [edit] mic [edit] has, because it seems that only him and the 3rd post from Caesar don't show a spike (unless I'm hugely misunderstanding this whole thing) - perhaps because they are both referring to Scratch???? I think the "logger" is "scritchety" - I wrote it on the last jpg for ease of comparison. Right after Caesar says something about Scratch (unjust3.jpg), Texel says "Scratch is... NOBLE..." Then Scratch tells everybody to chill out. Aggrrr, somebody plz make sense of this!..[/img]

[edit] SORRY...
.mic says this stuff, and the jpgs are mic's [edit]

This feels unrelated, but still worth pointing out:
Marcus Ormond's notes about heismissing.info talk about "the 2nd event"

Link?

Ok, I've posted the Timezones and machines on a map in this thread:

http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=23157#23157

Perhaps it should be moved over to here...?

Scratch

I think something is "happening" with Scratch (really don't know how to phrase it better).

On Oct. 9 everybody is at little-boxes talking about some "whomp". Assuming Scratch = mic, here is what he says on the 9th:
Quote:
if i could grab my nuts and sing falsetto, i'd croon like all the rest about what a freaking hero you are. oooooh, caesar! you know the CLASSICS! yer so cool! can i be like you? how many books do i have to read?

i'll be the guy over here, having FUN.

-scratch

Then he says (seems to be addressing Caesar, after Caesar says that he "cleaned up"):
Quote:
it takes a nerd to know one, dorko.
god, you're so smug! like anyone caused any real harm. why are you so worried about this precious network anyhow? if you wanna tiptoe through life, that's fine, but I don't have time for this. let me know if you EVER get a clue or an idea of how the world works.

Caesar responds:
Quote:
Why the hostility? Are you mad I got here first? That it wasn't like last time, where you got fried and nearly got us all pinned to the wall? What's the deal?

Scratch:
Quote:
look, i'll play your game because i like the pipe this place is sitting on. but i'll skip the rallies and ticker tape. these pansy-ass passcodes have GOT to go. we're off the grid anyway - NO ONE WOULDA GOT FRIED. misrepresenting me is not cool, man. i bet that spike was just a bad thunderstorm in redland, i bet. smug ass!

And then Texel tells them both to "keep it quiet".

Then on Oct. 16th lhp says to Scratch:
Quote:
scratch, gimme the skinny on what's makin' you itch, man. I, uh, dig your predicament, i'm a fuzzy on it all, but i wanna grok this completely.

To which Scratch responds:
Quote:
yeah, hello?
we coulda taken that stack too
if Mr. Moral Cooties [= Caesar?] over here hadn't twinked on us
this stuff is nada, zip, etc.
[ shows this "logging thing with "scritchety" for "logger" and showing no spikes ]
optimize your kernal better next time
so you don't have the problem
Can we move ON now, plz?

Then Caesar tells Scratch he's "dangerous", showing a "logging thing" (lol, I'm so lame!) with no spikes again, "logger" rome.
Texel steps in
Quote:
Easy, C. We're all friends here....no one here is 'dangerous'.
Gives a googlism on "scratch" with "Scratch is NOBLE, and well-given" at the end.

And then Scratch tells (who? probably Caesar?) to chill out. lhp repeats himself to Scratch.

It seems Caesar is accusing Scratch of not being careful (??), and Scratch says that 1) he was not "not careful" and tries to prove it, and (??) says that the "spike" was not his fault; 2) says that "no one would have got fried anyway".

Since I haven't seen it explicitly stated, I'll point out that in the play, Caesar says of Cassius, "he has a lean and hungry look, he thinks too much; such men are dangerous."

To which Antony replies, "Fear him not Caesar, he's not dangerous. He is a Nobel Roman, and well given."

Later, Caesar asks Antony to tell him what he really thinks of Cassius.

What does Antony tell him?

At the risk of being too obvious, I think the Labrynth program enables users to access computers around the world, thus causing a spike on those systems. That may be why Beth wanted to use the program to confirm the international incidences of the plagues.

So does that mean Scratch is Cassius?
