the coelacanth

i have studied marine biology and i would like to go on record as sating that the coelacanth is a real fish that exists in real life once thought to be extinct but was found in the 30's around the area of madagascar but most recently found in 1998 in the same area so i guess this means the anagrams idea and other things of the sort are false. Just want to put that out there Laughing

@morrison42zero yep Cool its all true its why i have some doubts as to the site being IG. Is it possible hes just a guy lookin for a REAL rare fish? Maybe. Is he actually IG? Maybe. Right now the website doesnt tell much. If it is involved it hasn't told us anything yet.

We know the fish is real. Please, please, please read the existing threads and discussion before you post again. I assure you that we all checked the wiki on Coelacanth the minute we knew it was IG. Nobody suggested it was fiction. In fact, there are literally pages of discussion regarding the coelacanth that are extremely in-depth. You would know that if you bothered to read the existing discussions and use the search function before you spammed the boards... Again.

I don't think there's an emoticon for unnecessary spoiler tag usage so I'll just throw you a flounder.

Flounder

Apparently there is no topic on UF explaining when they are warranted so I'll just say it.

Spoiler tags are only necessary when you are posting a message that could potentially give away part or all of a puzzle solve, a piece of meta information, or at times when critical plot information is given.

It is considered unnecessary spoiler tag usage when used to conceal regular game commentary, speculation or in this case trolling.

First, welcome, and yes, there are a lot of pages and threads existing. Everyone would appreciate you trying to read them or at least scan them to see where the conversation has gone before your arrival.

Yep, it's a lot of work for you to read it. It was a lot of work for us to write it. We'll show you the same respect for your work in the game if you return the favor. Deal?

Catch up when you can and we'll look forward to your contributions.

Not trying to be rude, but it's no different than someone walking up in the middle of the conversation and asking you to repeat what you just talked about for the last ten minutes. Sorry there is a lot to read, though I would consider that a signal that its probably worth reading.

All v.preliminary-in a rush.....

So has anyone else been wondering why the colour changes in the background of the calenders? Hiding in plain sight and all that. Also-there are similarities between the moons and clues. I think especially interesting is 21st July - Same Moon as 22nd June AND is the date of the first lunar landing. My money's on 21st for new clues

How about simplicity as an answer..

The darker portions of the chart correspond directly to the darker moon phases, and the lighter portions correspond directly to the lighter phases..see?
The paper color becomes lighter when the moon is brighter and darker when its darker..
Voila.. Mystery solved..
Move along now..

While I like the answer, it misses the fact there are discrepancies. I mean-compare the identical weeks in June and July (18-26), they are clearly different which slightly goes against your theory. Not fully convinced........

I was perusing the web for something that could be our "rare fish", like a planet, meteor shower, etc to see if it matched our HLM calender. I found a neat calender on NASA site: http://solarsystem.nasa.gov/calendar/monthly.cfm

It doesn't match our HLM in any way that I see, just has important dates in space exploration placed in a neat monthly calender. Just thought I'd share, now off to my car show.
