Agreed, this is definitely not going well. The AG command code, I really wish we had figured it out. Just wtf, no hints whatsoever!
This was my main source of frustration with this latest mission. Team Aspect was asked to do troop deployment within 24 hours and given a grid. But... absolutely no hints as to what would make a "good" troop deployment. The end results are pretty random. http://www.jointalliancerapidresponse.com/grid
I feel frustrated by this "not enough codes" issue as well... it wasn't a puzzle my team got but are they implying that we lose because there weren't enough active participants?

Thanks I've added them above!
I just went back and listened to the last entry a couple times. Very cool to hear everyone reading off their names. I counted 15....did we really miss by 1?
Although I'm too lazy to cross reference if it was 8 of 1 group and 7 of another, it might have been more lopsided.
Also, my new favorite codename: Honeydew Weapon.

Kimmy recorded and sent but it didn't appear, not to mention it was only one short.... suspicious...

I actually wrote back and changed mine after my initial deployment, because too many of us went to E5 and E6. I said there was a miscommunication and redeployed to B8 and F8 with no trouble. I recommend we leave it as-is now, since as you say we have no idea what a "good" deployment looks like. We have some line-of-sight for every major interior street except square G4, and if they're going to attack (by ground?) there, then they have to go through 5x troops on E5 and D5 first. I think it's about as good as we can get by guessing.

I had no idea on what I should have done for troop deployment. I just picked spots I thought were good. (Crosses fingers)

Yeah I did send it in.
Someone must have emailed them to complain as I got this email out of the blue

That is kinda strange.
But as we see a toal of 7 Cobalt Quarter CACs were missing to activate.
This is not good at all. We are all part of the game and JARR counts on us. Meh. Hopefully the next operations will be better.

I'm Torus Archer from Cobalt Quarter. It was awesome that they used my whole clip. But yeah, it sounded like AG exceeded their number of required codes and CQ was short 3.
The first time we tried to access Roxie there were supposed to be 10 of us, and I think only 8 of us supplied codes in ourselves. The last 2 were found through other means. Which is probably why we were dropped down to 7 codes needed. Unfortunately, I think we lost a few people due to the Discord move.

I'm glad they let you redeploy. I just got the email that said the other groups missions had failed and ours was in play... and again I had that feeling: I have no idea if we did it "right" or not.
Well... here's hoping that if we lose we at least get a big splashy defeat with monsters and aliens and explosions and stuff.
Oh hell ... it just hit me. I wonder if we could have used the coded messages from earlier in the mission as diagrams for this grid?

So here's hoping this image is utter nonsense. I took the last decoded grid we got and overlayed the map on top of it:
I positioned it where I did because there's one unique symbol in the code... figured if that was done on purpose it would line up well with our target.
If I'm right about this we're way, way off.
Hope I'm wrong.

We also need forces on B2 and D8 then, if this has any ground at all. Would be cool actually.

Why those two spots?
I was thinking maybe the white dots would be for laser batteries and we would have to look for 8 dots for where we deploy troops since they're squads of 8...
Which would mean we'd need laser batteries at C1-4, C8, C10, F9, and H7.
Squads at B3, D1, E9, H2, and then maybe doulbe squads at the 9s so B5, B7, C6, D6, D7, E4-7, G5 and H9... hmm. That's way too many isn't it? Idk.
