spec: like last time, the axon not actually needed until Tuesday?

spec: they wanted to see if they could get a flash mob and three people didn't qualify so they blew us off?

spec: we'll see video of three geeks standing around a gallery payphone (holding cellphones, a Blackberry and a recorder) from some spycam tomorrow.

call them? at what number?

The Smithsonian's Renwick Gallery does not have writing on the walls around the phone in their main entrance hall. Nor things taped to the phone. And if they did, then why tell us to be there at a specific time?

options: if we can get 3 people again - one at the gallery phone, one on the street corner, and one at the phones up the street.

264-575 (2079) on http://www.ilovebees.com/reconstruction_archive.2.2.html

And why should the coordinates match up with payphones?

I think we need to wait and see if this is a glitch or if a new approach is needed.

If we do need to seek alternative approaches, then again I ask people to consider that the links.html coordinates and times were started before The Flea was in control, and that Melissa has stated that their purpose is to reach her crewmembers.

The purpose of the recipe3.html coordinates is anyone's guess, since they were started AND finished under the influence of The Flea and put somewhere else so they'd be "secret", in the SP's words, from the "crewmembers" who already knew to look on links.html. If Melissa was using this method to talk to crewmembers, then who does the Flea think he's going to reach? Was a crewmember secretly in league with the Flea? Traitor? Fifth Columnist? (Is it really so rediculous?) I mean, I was joking before when I said that someone in an "I'm with Flea" t-shirt would show up, but now that I've thought about it some more, maybe we should we be looking for dodgy folks at these locations trying to answer payphones... did some non-AI lifeform actually survive the crash?

(edited for clarity)

Man, if we have just 4 new sound clips next Tuesday, they'd better be about 15 minutes each.

Confirmation from Buena Park, CA axon (troy) ... it is a phone call. We think we failed.

At least 3 sets of phones were staked out around the Wax Museum (the Starbucks mentioned earlier is in front of it). The phone bank actually at the wax museum was the correct one, and it was the left hand phone.

The person who answered said there was immediately a lot of dialog, multiple voices sounding more like an Operator monologue type of thing, and then a silence and then he was told he wasn't authorized or worthy or something. There didn't seem to be a question to answer, though, and I don't remember if he said anything during the silence or not.

I hope this helps out the next axon.

That didn't make the slightest bit of sense.

Troy phone call

Makes perfect sense, confirmation that it is a phone call as one was made to the Troy location.

Can you give us some details Robynn? What was the call? Any questions asked? What played? Details?! And yes, looks like it failed, why?

Sorry, I hit submit too fast, edited the post above with additional information.

I don't know if anyone will be back at that phone tomorrow. I can't be, but I hope someone else is.

Not to mention that we are NOT authorized, as we are "spying" on the Op & The Flea..makes me wonder if we've got some of that "Shockingly excessive force" coming...

I only said that because it wasn't stated what kind of call was it (I don't know if it was to confirm they missed it or not).

Perhaps we need to say the code word, and BRING THE ORDERED LIST of the axon wavs for Melissa to process and read those to her?

Sounds like we just picked the wrong phone. Tomorrow I can try the phones up (and across) the street.

BTW, I hope Melissa didn't pick a phone that really was [formerly] outside the Gallery. Because that area is all construction now as they turn the area in front of the White House into a pedestrian mall with security barriers and everything (permanently deleting that piece of Pennsylvania Ave and joining Lafayette Park to the White House property). All fenced and dug up.

The payphone site has a listing of a phone near the White House, but it's near the east entrance - over a block away. I don't consider that an option.

Great, now we just need a copy of this "dialogue" posted so we can figure out what the "answer" is supposed to be.
